Unless Putin has a very rare medical condition which causes hair to sprout from his lips? I have a beard, with quite a full moustache, yet there's no hair in the way of my mouth. When I eat, what I do is, I open my mouth and put the food in there. I don't just pick up a handful of food and mash it against my face in the hope that most of it will end up in my mouth. Maybe Putin eats like that.

It depends how the beard hair grows. For most people it works out fine, but mine just curled in on itself into a thin layer that didn't look good. The worst part was shaving it off after I gave up.

I'd grow one if I could, especially a goatee. But my chin and my moustache never connect. Basically, I can grow the civil war moustache than connects with the sideburns, but always have this gap on each side of the chin/cheek that wan't connect up. Oh how Ai long for the Tony Stark look.
