I don't have a setup ready and I'm slated for M30. I've been sitting on that game slot for over a year and I don't want to lose it.

I'll co-GM for someone if needed, or if no one else is able, but I'd really like to play.

I can probably whip together a rold madness game if people REALLY want it, but... we had one not too long ago.

I'm going to start working on a setup and will look to run it in the summer, when I have a shitload of extra time. Right now though, I agree that the "council" needs to have some transparency. Who's banned, from what? Why? Who's running the next game?

With how popular Mafia is, there should be a queue. Why wait 2 weeks between games? Also, if the issue is that setups aren't getting approved, we have 24 unique setups that have been used and can be reused. As I mentioned in the God QT, having previous games with the same setup will be a huge asset to every player.

It isn't that hard guys. Let's get things going. If the council is too busy, or too slow, Mafia was perfectly fine before them.

Apologies for the delay; the fact I was alive at the endgame meant no discussions could be had til after last game ended, and now we just need to actually be online at the same time. There won't be too much trouble finding a GM, don't worry.

Reasons why GMs,are rejected should be mentioned. If GMs,are banned we should have a clear transparent appeals process. webdip unbans after a year sometimes

There's no need to bar people from GMing. Co-GMs have worked fabulously to temper idiots such as myself who can't hardly add 2 and 2. Don't fix what aint broke.

I know why I am banned. I also know why Jamie was denied. But I wanna know when those bans end. If you impose a ban surely you have a plan for how it ends too

Alright, a bit of transparency:

Brainbomb is banned from GMing due to his acts as GM of Discord Webdip Mafia, where he got into an argument with one of the players and decided to delete the server and destroy the game to spite them.

Jamiet is not banned from GMing but his request to switch places with Maniac (with him GMing M25 and Maniac M26) has been denied due to his deadposting - having a player break the rules fairly blatantly like that and then GM a game immediately afterwards was not something we wanted to happen.

Manaic has stated he's too busy to run M25, so we need a replacement GM, preferably someone who would run a vanilla setup. We've had a request from VashtaNeurotic for the position which will likely be approved.

The new signup thread should be up relatively soon, since Vanilla setups don't need anywhere near as much scrutiny with interactions/balance.

Ask Donald Trump if he wants to GM it. He won't have anything to do next week.
