ACA Premium Reimbursement
Today I was refunded a decent amount of last year's insurance premium through my company because our insurer didn't spend enough of their income from premiums on claims. What is going on here that some people are seeing their premiums double while some insurers literally don't have enough claims. Is it just happenstance that this provider only has healthy people? A civil, informed discussion would be appreciated, if at all possible.

Let's change the subject
Since there's so much rage about the American political situation, I thought I'd change it up a bit. Who do you think the next Australian PM will be?

Every F$&@ing Game Ruined!!!!
Every f$@&ing game ruined by NMR/CD's ... and then the D Bags who get the advantage won't cancel the game! Pathetic guys! You know who you are, and you're freakin' pathetic point grubbing thieves! You can't play win a straight up fight, so you resort to playing when you've got an unfair advantage.

Can we PLEASE create an "auto-cancle" feature so this stops happening?

Nonsense flood. Town had BY FAR the best win odds if we lynched for bio the day where I claimed inventor - when both me and HR were clearly stating it.

No ammount of nay-saying is going to change that. You guys just got pimped by Gold to do the foolish thing and it cost everyone.

Fuck you HR. Resign or disband your stupid council right this minute. You're a fucking joke.

It was better to take a chance with the RNG than to guarantee a loss like we did, Flood.

I can't help that you suck, Chaqa. One day you'll ascend to a greater plain of knowledge, until then, you'll lose. Again.

"Flood and Rdrivera were unlynchable as well Xorxes."

Not hard-clears like goldie, no.

##CALL GM: Is it true that visits from/to infected would no longer spread the infection after Bio was dead?

My god the trash talk. Settle it on the field of play. Chaqa vs HR day 1 next game will be fiesty

I'm not convinced HR. Let's just agree to disagree.

Anyway, I would have liked to see you involved the whole way through. We were not in autoloss. If you think we made bad choices then that's on you - you didn't get involved enough.

Still, a fun game. I enjoyed living past D2.
Hellenic Riot (1626 D(G))
07 Nov 16 UTC
The mafia understood what to do (or at least; Vecna and teacon did).

Both teams played chicken trying to make the other kill the Bio in the end; and both teams lost as a result.
Vecna (890 D)
07 Nov 16 UTC
I was operating under the assumption the virus would keep spreading, even while lethal.
Jamiet99uk (808 D)
07 Nov 16 UTC
HR - nothing in the Bio's role describe states that the virus stops being infectious after he dies.

Chaqa is right. You're an idiot.
Hellenic Riot (1626 D(G))
07 Nov 16 UTC
And you need to learn not to rage post after you die, Jamie. A fairly fundamental rule you broke repeatedly. Not the best place to lecture from.
Vecna (890 D)
07 Nov 16 UTC
They werent hardclears xorxes, true, but after all scum had BW'd RdRivera he was pretty much clear of being scum. Either way, as I explained before - because gold was pushing for Ezio so hard I felt he was the least likely to be Bio. And yes, I did think they were high possibilities to be bio.
teacon7 (306 D)

"Vecna, ghug, and Chaqa were all struck by arrows from Cupid." ...?
Vecna (890 D)
07 Nov 16 UTC
Either way, im completely happy and satisfied with my performance and I couldnt care less what certain people think of my choices.

I think those Mspaints are going to be making a return.
xorxes (31128 D)
07 Nov 16 UTC
HR: "It was better to take a chance with the RNG than to guarantee a loss like we did, Flood."

It wasn't a guaranteed loss HR. If Vecna had guessed correctly between goldie and Chaqa, it would have been a town win most likely (as long as they lynched Vecna, which admittedly I can't say for sure that with HR, guak and dargory in his team Chaqa would have managed to do).

We all sucked. End of story. There is no point in deciding who sucked more. If it makes you all happy I will gladly take the tilte given that this has been my worst game ever probably. Yet, people bragging about how well they did are forgetting that they sucked too. Everyone sucked in this game except perhaps goldfinger, and I am not even sure that he didn't suck or we all just sucked more.
Hellenic Riot (1626 D(G))
07 Nov 16 UTC
I scumread Vecna all the way back from when I tried to lynch him D2.

I just didn't want to lynch mafia in the latter stages.
Vecna (890 D)
07 Nov 16 UTC
Well Xorxes, I would have had to be 100% certain that Gold was bio to make a different choice in that last night. And even if I was, that choice would have been to kill Chaqa and Roleblock Gold.

Town was in autoloss regardless due to their own actions. There literally was no use for me in keeping Chaqa alive at that point.
Hellenic Riot (1626 D(G))
07 Nov 16 UTC
Agreed; guak.

Except xorxes. He was pretty good.

@Vecna, I liked the Mspaints. In some part of my brain I wanted you to win with your fake claim because in my first post of the game I said you were breadcrumbing MVP...
Vecna (890 D)
07 Nov 16 UTC
I was so looking forward to that showdown HR in case town wouldve upped their game and help get rid of the bio.

I was kinda counting on you suddenly becoming a lot more active and battle-ready if the bio ever were to die.
Chaqa (3971 D(B))
07 Nov 16 UTC
I was banking on you not risking me being infected, Vecna.
Jamiet99uk (808 D)
07 Nov 16 UTC
@ HR: First of all, I've apologised to the GM for that.
Second of all, Krellin did it as well. I trust that any sanction you apply to me will apply equally to him.
Thirdly, at least I tried, the whole time I was alive. You didn't.
dargorygel (2596 DMod(G))
07 Nov 16 UTC
I sucked the most. Talked myself into reading and finding and deciding and being afraid of being called scum again. Sorry, team.
I liked the Mspaints, once i got to see them.
Goldfinger was brilliant and lucky.
Vecna was persuasive.
Unfortunately, so was Chaqa.
ghug (5068 D(B))

HR, I'm fairly sure you're wrong about the infection not being able to spread anymore after the bio dies, which changes your analysis from reasonable to unquestionably wrong. If you thought that was the case, you probably should have said something to that effect.
Vecna (890 D)
07 Nov 16 UTC
@Xorxes - if town had even given the littlest of shits about the bio I would have been the MVP of this game.

Sadly I had to invest all my effort into talking sense into town to get them to try and contribute to the Bio effort which made me look rather scummy (even though it was in their own best interest)
peterlund (1310 D(G))
07 Nov 16 UTC
"We all sucked" - Guak I agree but you're the top sucker, Chaqa comes in as a good second with the rest of town in a well deserved third place.
Vecna (890 D)
07 Nov 16 UTC
If you were infected, I couldnt win anymore regardless Chaqa since it'd be too many targets lefts alive.
Vecna (890 D)
07 Nov 16 UTC
Chaqa actually played rather well, even though he shouldve listened to me regarding the bio in the earlier stages.

I was kinda wishing he was bio so he wouldve won the game in case we didnt.

Extra Terrestial Influence
So I think most of the world is in agreement that the universe is so big that life almost definitely exists on other planets. That question is kind of boring though. The real question is, have aliens had contact with earth in the present or past.
The results are in, and the evidence points to a resounding yes!

Why is there such an epidemic of cheating? I've had several games be paused and irreparably damaged by cheating investigations. Can anyone explain why people are so invested in winning that they won't abide by the rules?

Maniac 2020
Recent appointments to high office have created controversy among progressive, intelligent people. I'm talking about two things, of course. First of all, the election of Donald Trumpf as Leader Of The Free World (TM). Secondly, and no less controversially, the selection of a new Moderator who was not Maniac.

A Divide
I've seen horrible reactions these past 24 hours. Some celebrate that they have a champion, thinking he will bring this country to its greatest times. Others panic, fearing the same man will erode their rights and encourage persecution which will endanger their lives. Those whose views don't fall into that binary shirk away, fearing their voice is no longer welcome. This thread is about the lofty goal of uniting a further dividing nation.

Refugees and Asylum seekers
So i had a thought, under international law, those seeking asylum are entitled to protection if they have reason to fear for their life. Thus pretty much anyone fleeing the Syrian war should probably automatically be granted asylum.

What about LGBT folk from the US, fearing political repression and violence in the streets. Should we (europeans) open our borders?
