I can't remember which 5 I chose. I was town between 7 different ones I wanted to weight, of which 5 were economic (other 2 being the education one above and one about the environment), but I can't remember which ones I chose.
I'm bored enough to retake the test:
"Criminal foreigners have to be deported to their home country after they have served their sentences."
SD (Strongly disagree)
"An obligatory referendum needs to be carried out for every demand by the population."
SD
"The government should have control over the media."
SD
"Homosexuals are entitled to have the exact same rights as heterosexuals."
FA (Fully Agree)
"Natural resources belong to the population and must not be privatized."
SD and weighted
"The constitution of a state must relate with God."
SD
"Active euthanasia must not be classified as crime."
FA
"Every citizen should be entitled to humane accommodation."
ID (I Disagree)
"Education is common property, which has to be accessible free of charge for every citizen."
FA
"Each individual should only be allowed to own so much land as they need for life."
SD and weighted
"Religious education should be a compulsory subject at all schools."
ID (This is a contributor to our different secular scores)
"The resources have to be managed by society."
SD and weighted
"Economic growth is the most important factor for the nation's well-being."
FA and weighted
"Gender equality is one of the most important social achievements of modern times."
ID (I was torn between SD and ID here, since I don't view it as important at all, but I will admit that it is an achievement.)
"Drugs of all kind should be completely legal."
PA (partially agree)
"It is of no one's concern what adults do in their bedroom by mutual agreement."
FA
"The state should concentrate on the core areas safety and justice."
FA
"The state has to ensure that people are able to live off their work with dignity."
SD
"Solidarity has to be an obligation for all citizens."
ID
"Income, which hasn't been earned through own work, should be subjected to higher taxation."
SD and weighted
"The government should interfere with the market development as seldom as possible."
FA and weighted"
"The infrastructure works best, if the responsibility lies with competing undertakings."
FA
"Religious institutions should not get special privileges."
ID (again contributed to our difference on the secular front)
"Corporal punishment is an important element in parenting."
neutral
"Without the unions, we would be living in catastrophic social conditions."
ID
"Redistribution should happen from the top to the bottom."
SD (I misread this question last time and voted wrong, I think this contributed to the difference in our capitalist score.)
"The technical progress brought more misery than benefit to the world."
FA
"It would be good for the public authorities to pay their debts no longer."
SD
"Employees have taken way too much liberty towards their employers by now."
neutral again, because I'm not sure how to feel about this. I think I should let the free market decide, but I don't know if that means agree or disagree, lol
"The atomic arms race effectively prevented a conventional war."
SD (While I do agree that this stopped a war in the aftermath of the CMC, the nuclear weapons involved in the CMC was what almost triggered the war in the first place. Overall I am neutral on this issue, because I think it can/has prevent some wars but started others, however I voted SD because I am 100% against the construction of nuclear weapons).
"The most elementary human rights also apply to primates."
SD
"The consumption of meat is objectionable for ecological, moral and health reasons."
SD
"Tyrannies that contravene human rights should be eliminated by international military intervention."
SD (while I'm not a 100% non-interventionist, unless it is clear that the whomever we are assisting will govern better then the current government and would have more popular support, I don't see a reason to go in. The reason I would vote SD is because I'm one of the few people I know who would have opposed given foreign aid to China and USSR during WW2 and would have tried to stay out of the war.)
"We should reduce our living standards massively to protect the environment."
SD and weighted
"A nation should potentially be allowed to use military means to secure access to natural resources."
SD
"Even small delicts should be punished rigorously to prevent rampant crime."
SD
"The globalization is desirable, as long as all the nations can profit from it."
SD (This one is really, really confusing as a question. Does hitting disagree mean globalization is never desirable, or that globalization is always desirable. I assumed it meant always desirable. If I'm wrong that contributed to our difference)
"Violence is never the answer."
FA
"Man is entitled to improve their quality of life by performing animal experiments."
FA
"Some nations are superior to others because of their gene pool."
ID
"In order to prevent or solve bad crimes it is justified to observe even unsuspicious persons."
ID (While I strongly disagree with the government spying on its citizens as a means of counter terrorism, I do support having police cars be parked on civilian roads in crime ridden areas. Some people I have talked to view this as an invasion of privacy, so I chose ID for this question)
"The free enterprise is an inviolable human right."
FA
"Physical punishment or forced labor are legitimate and appropriate means to discourage crime."
SD
"Without believing in a higher power, it is not possible to establish a plausible system of values."
neutral (I find that heavily religious people are a lot more moral then non-religious people, but is possible to be moral without being religious. This is the biggest reduction in my secular score.)
"On behalf of the stability of the state, the government has to be able to silence critics."
SD and weighted
"The only social responsibility of a company is generating profit."
FA
"Immigrants are always an enrichment for the hosting country."
FA
So I had 7 questions that I weighted above and now have to narrow my list down:
Natural resources belong to the population and must not be privatized.
Each individual should only be allowed to own so much land as they need for life.
The resources have to be managed by society.
Economic growth is the most important factor for the nation's well-being.
Income, which hasn't been earned through own work, should be subjected to higher taxation.
The government should interfere with the market development as seldom as possible.
We should reduce our living standards massively to protect the environment.
I got rid of these statements:
Income, which hasn't been earned through own work, should be subjected to higher taxation.
We should reduce our living standards massively to protect the environment.
Last time I didn't get rid of the envir
Now lets see how I score: http://www.politicaltest.net/test/result/366417/
I'm not sure what I answered differently last time, but its quite a different result. Its very popular that I misclicked a few times. My secular score dropped and my visionary score dropped and I'm not too sure why, all my other scores didn't change that much.
The ecological score changed because I had an environment one in my favourites last time.
