I'll be the first to admit that I got caught up in things a bit too, and I certainly could have looked more analytically at the whole thing, maybe even going back to Abg before Sev. In any case, I don't think anyone is going to successfully advocate for a bloc tactic for the next round.

I'm surprised abge managed to survive when he was far and away the top suspect collectively several days ago (as I tried to quantify with my 3/2/1 point value system). I think the early ##ENDs to days were bad for the town. Not everyone can be on at the same time. Days are the only time when the town can discuss things and share analysis. Cutting that discussion short -- on one day, almost 24 hours short -- is bad. I had hoped to jump back on that day and further discuss lynching abgemacht. Instead, the day ended prematurely and I didn't even submit a lynch vote.

This game was awesome. Thanks PE. Well played all round I have to say. Like abge, I have not been able to think about anything else for the past.... euh... week or so.

I killed Warden because he was saved last turn, so my chances of killing him were slightly higher. It also had the added benefit of leaving me with the two most likely townies in the whole game to agree with me : )

The problem is we did not have the right person leading the block. If Thucy had not been killed, we would have won. However, Fasces was absentee and krellin had a habit of switching votes rapidly. I honestly did not know what thoughts I could share without krellin throwing suspicion on me.

You're just lucky you killed YJ on day one, abge. I knew you were foul.

Of course, I also wanted to kill thucy and krellin, so whaver :P

Yeah, I agree with abge about that one. Vash, you had two logical suspects left in abge and TMW, and then you go on about fasces possibly being a convoluted mafia plant. That really helped set abge up to dig your grave. Also, the "lemon rant" was quite misguided. You need to stroke krellins ego. He won't listen to logic if he's not being praised. Look at how abge played him.

Oh and this was fun, by the way. I just hope I can get a power role next time, I really want to see how I would be different as a doctor, cop, vig, mafia or even SK. Though they will probably put me as vanilla townie again.

I was actually really surprised that you guys didn't use the consecutive target trick on Fasces the first time he saved himself. Even reading the mafia QT, I didn't really get why you guys didn't at least go for him twice in a row. Especially since so many of you seemed to think he was the doc.

So, I'll admit that I played the night game rather poorly. I kinda of went all Scanner Darkly and night phases were very disorienting to me.

Also, I play Mafia all the time (I havent lost as mafia in years) but the rules here were different and I genuinely kept forgetting them.

If it had been anyone else but Vash versus abge, abge probably would have died. As a high and obvious suspect, I figured if he was mafia, save the desert for last, since he was so obvious to so many. Why kill the obvious mafia guy first when you can keep him around and use him? That’s one of the reasons I didn’t want to kill abge earlier and defended him to keep him around – because he was a useful tool **either way**.

YJ - I've thought about it as well (GM'ing, that is). Though I'd like to "tweak" the set-up and powers if I GM'ed, so need to ponder possibilities.

My goal was to win over fasces with facts, I did not believe I could win over krellin, at least not with the way I play. I did decide to have some fun with my posts, which was a bad idea in hindsight as it made me just seem crazy. Ex: the lemon rant
