I have never felt like either of you felt I had one shred of intellect in my head but this is taking your personal disapproval of my thoughts to a new level. What you are implying is that I am not allowed to try to figure out based on past play a connective liklihood someone may be scummy. Even the greatest fallacies may have crumbs of truth. Brainbomb, I am happy to agree that, given the voting focus on him early today, HR has failed to respond or participate adequately. Actually, yes, that is so.

It is, in fact, a shame that Ghug so quickly admitted voting for HR "for no reason", and that people started throwing things at y2k, because actually that took a lot of the heat off HR. If your vote was not a "joke" but was a genuine reaction test, you probably abandoned it much too easily, in hindsight.

@brainbomb, why is it that when people don't buy your case on HR, they automatically become part of a scum team? And what have I flat-out lied about?

OB youve lied a few times.

1) you claimed Chaqa was obvious scum pandered for votes then abandoned that and hes voting alongside you now and youve never even brought that up.

2) youve said to me privately you know when I am scum because I am too mentally coherent. But here your voting for me simply because why? You first said I rolled scum. Then you said brain is useless unhelpful town. Then you claimed my posts all lack substance. ALL categorical lies.

Ok, finally back from work today and caught up. Things of note and responses: To the people questioning my captainmeme vote. When I typed up said post voting for him, it turned out to actually crosspost with his "substantive" post. I still stand by it. Of all the lurkers, meme has the strongest history of repeat behavior and a willingness to hurt the town in using it. Just look at the mafia QT from last game and it's very clear that captainmeme was happily using his history to excuse lurking as scum, and was lying in the thread about not being able to be caught up. As of now, HE HAS STILL ONLY HAD ONE POST! This is exactly the behavior from meme--and by extension all lurkers--that we need to stamp out. Unless meme proves to be a substantive contributor for more than just the final hours of a phase, he needs to die. Period.

RE: brainbomb something is feeling off to me about him, but it's mostly the sense that he's trying too hard. Knowing brainbomb's meta and his absurd drive to break the record, combined with his fanatical effort of supposedly reading ALL of the mafia threads, I don't know that his trying too hard aspect shows as a scum tell, but it does worry me regardless.

RE Vecna: The whole rabbits thing sounds like the sort of shitty mistake he should have LEARNED FROM last time. It sounds artificial, stupid, and meaningless. It does nothing to help town and only casts Vecna in a bad light. He might be trying to imitate his previous performance in order to seem innocent.

RE ND/krellin/y2k spat: krellin is honestly the one getting his panties in a wad and IS acting overly defensively. I would be inclined to think this is krellin trying to act "extra-krellin" in response to very minor attacks, but it's always incredibly difficult to read him, so I'm not sure. krellin +1 scum notch though.

ghug, OB, HR, Jaimie, teacon, and whoever else has been active haven't set off any alarm bells for me yet.

I found his opening comment to be odd and since then he's continued to make similar statements, like posting five time will kill him, not answered any questions, told us he was just lurking, and finished by saying that we should vote for bb and krellin because of quality of life. And had the nerve to offer up their not posting with any substance as part of his reasoning.

One thing I have an opinion on is that several people in addition to Captainmeme and HR appear to be lurking.

Yoyoyozo for example. As of page 12 has still not posted despite having been online several times. He was logged into the site 10 minutes ago, and he was logged in at least once yesterday after the game had started. Yet he is nowhere to be seen.

DemonOverlord meanwhile appears on Page 7 with a one-line message telling people to chill. Vanishes again. Never to be seen again.

@Jamie - brainbomb is referring to 2 discussions we've had in a non-anonymous game of Diplomacy where after the last game and after a game of EM I told him that I know when he is scum because all of a sudden he starts making a lot of sense in his posts. While brain probably thinks this is the God's honest truth, I'm sure that more than a few of you in the game will recognize that as a friendly gibe about his game style, which is to make no sense at all. I didn't realize brainbomb took those statements as gospel and am surprised that he would bring those 2 isolated remarks up in this game.

@OB Are you honestly surprised that brainbomb took something that was semi-serious and decided it must be your foundational view of him? That seems like typical brainbomb behavior to me.

Let's not conflate moving my vote to brainbomb with me changing my Chaqa read to town. I think brainbomb is detrimental to town's goal and should be eliminated. I think Chaqa seems scummy and will either continue to seem scummy or my read will change or he'll be killed. If he continues to seem scummy, I can push to get him lynched at a later time. If I take a dirt nap before then, my reads will be looked at as true and pure and town can move forward accordingly.

@WD - I see your point. To clarify, I'm surprised he brought it up as indicative of anything going on within the game. Even more proof that brainbomb needs to go.
