Yes, and it's completely reasonable to be upset when someone else confirms you when you are not sure.

Why do much drama? Just wait til the deadline. When you reach the deadline whoever hasn’t confirmed is replaced. If they don’t want replaced they’ll confirm and if they ant play then they won’t confirm. This isn’t rocket science everyone. It just feels like people are crying for crying sake.

Like Jamiet, this is literally all you needed to do. Say "it seems bo may have an issue playing but seems to be erring on the side where he can. However, in case he is unable to play, who would be able to to." Then you can let bo play if his situation is fine and and replace him if either he no shows or says he can't play, with no undue hardship to you or anyone else.

And I care because I GM a lot and care about the experience of the players and being fair.

And I’m not talking about bo here. I’m talking about all the “helpers” who find it nessecary to take a stand in the name of no who clearly is already not happy people confirmed for him. Why would he want you to speak for him in any other fashion. Bo is a big boy and he can make his own decisions, everyone else confirm for yourselves and let’s get the damn show on the road without all this extra BS

It seems I've done something to upset you, Jamie. What is it exactly? I would like to know why I am being replaced without ever telling you that I need to be replaced and why I am not being given the same amount of time as other people to confirm my participation in this game. I made it quite clear that asking people to confirm so far in advance was ludicrous because things happen in the real world that we cannot foresee that far an advance. Maybe a meteor falls on my head tomorrow and I end up in a coma until halfway through D5. Maybe my upstairs neighbors finally burn my apartment down with their open gas grill on a wooden balcony and I have to spend my free time recouping little bits and pieces of my life instead of playing games that people get way too upset over on the internet. Who knows? Likewise, I would like to know why you have spent the last week insisting on confirming my participation for me when I have not given you the confirmation that you seem so desperate to get out of the way and why you think that causing unnecessary drama in the sign up thread is a good start to your first time as a GM since being banned for - wait for it - being unnecessarily dramatic.

For your information, assuming that I choose to do so, I will confirm on Sunday at 10:59 GMT. Until then, you can stick a thorny rose bush up your clenched asshole.
