do you know their email address aswell? That would annoy me greatly, i should have written a form so you can only add names, but i didn't think of it at the time...

I was going to say the same thing as Draugnar... I'd prefer not to put my email address in a public spreadsheet. I suppose I could make a new gmail account just for webdip, but that seems like a lot of work to participate in the league...

For players of relatively humble stature like myself, is this the place I should sign up? I've never participated in league play before but I'd like to branch out a bit.

If I was in the fall league, will I be automatically included for next round, or do I have to sign up?

Gotta sign up. There is a place on the signup to indicate that you were in the leagues before.

Well, I did fairly well, tied with Draugnar for 2nd-3rd. Too bad about our final game, I could of pulled the lead :P

If you wish to create a seperate email address which auto-forwards to you, and then you delete at the end of the league season that is a technical solution which i'm sure you are able to manage yourself.

@LakersFan, what Draug said. I'm not planning to email everyone who ever played before, I do have the list, but if they're not here on the forum and active then they don't really need un-solicited emails from me.

@Minister of war, I will create a webform so the signups can only be seen by me.

HOWEVER, i do want to email everyone, so I intend to share your email with the rest of the players in your pool. Is this ok?

I wish you all to be able to communicate with the other 6 players in your league group via email. This is to help facilitate organizing of games when there is no global thread because no game is currently up and running.

I could, for example, email all of the current A* players who haven't finished their last game, but I did not get consent from them to publish their emails. In the past, Aldy and TGM both used emails to contact league players and i feel this is a necessary improvement.

- Would I be seeded then into the D league to begin?
- How many games under what rules/variant?

I'm not ora but the individual league groups have generally been random in the past. The only seeding is which league you end up on (A*/Premiere through D). New players to the leagues typically end up in the bottom league and if we need to move some.up one, it's a GR relative thing.

@ora - The 17 hour days are wrapping.up so I should have time to help with the Leagues this spring if you meed it.

I'm confused about the email issue. Aren't our emails published on our profiles already? It would seem that is an implied use.

Are we not going to finish the last game? I have hopes of getting 1 pt so I'm not skunked this season.

In your settings you can have your email set to not display. Mods/Admins can still see it, but not anyone else.

I thought we were drawing A*4a amongst the six of us that actually bothered to show up (two points each).

Some people have emails on their profiles hidden as Alderian said. I could (using mod powers) view them, but sharing these with other players without explicit permission would not be ok. So i'm demanding permission to use your emails, and farming out the work of collecting them on a spreadsheet...

@L1star/Draug: Yes, I believe you are drawing the last game. It think the decision should be up to the players, but you're running out of time and I can't recruit anyone to sub in at this late point. (though if they solo'd they automatically qualify for the next A league... hmm, maybe I should play... )
