Pac ten looks good. USC didnt look great today in it's win, but I think it's the strongest it's been in years top to bottom. But it has a couple of clunkers too Colorado, WSU. Stanford is a good team. Oregon is good. USC will be very good by mid season--they just look disinterested and bored right now. They will be ready for ND. Ariz, ASU, OSU, UCLA much better this year.

Oh I forgot about Georgia in SEC. They are pretty good. But they played Vandy. What has gotten into Kansas State? Holy cow.

The Big Ten sucks this year. Iowa lost to Central Michigan (at Iowa), Wisconsin almost lost to Northern Iowa (at Wisconsin), Michigan lost to Notre Dame and almost lost to Air Force (at Michigan), and Penn State is a trainwreck for obvious reasons.

Too early to tell which conference is better, but Putin's right, conferences are becoming increasingly irrelevant. LSU's benefited quite nicely from the recent SEC hype, but I don't like it. About the only thing I appreciate about conferences are the clarity they bring to logistics, but considering ho much more expansive they're getting, it's hard to argue that this advantage even exists as much anymore.

naw, Putin's right. College ball is b.s., and it'll stay that way until they implement a playoff system. I'm sick of untested fairies with only 2-3 meaningful wins getting to a big bowl game. I might start watching then. Hell I go to UW and I don't give a rats ass about the Badgers.

The new playoff will be 4 teams selected by a committee. I'm expecting to see 2 SEC teams and one of Big 12, Pac-12, or B1G most years. The pathetic ACC and Big Least can sit on the sidelines where they belong.

Conferences are extremely relevant. There is a reason schools are fighting to get into the better conferences.

As for bowls, on no, how terrible, decent enough teams get to play an extra game at the end of the season and the fans get to enjoy all these extra games between decent to good teams. What a travesty. /sarcasm off
