I can buy the Pats losing--in fact I hope to GOD they do!--but to the SEAHAWKS?!?!

The one team to play a full NFL Season (since technically we HAVE had a losing team in the playoffs before, the Lions--there's a shocker--had a losing record but made the playoffs in the strike-shortened 1982 season) and make the playoffs with a losing record...will WIN THE SUPER BOWL?!?!?

President Eden might be biased, but at least its in the realm of possibility!

I don't understand the appeal of NFL. Five minutes of action per commercial break. Play stopping and starting constantly. Lots of showboating and whining to the referees.
Plus the players get the s*** kicked out of them and most have little to show for it afterward except permanent injuries.

Saints fan here. And lol @ picking Seattle, halfway through the first quarter and mah Saints lead 10-0 :D

American Football is a boring sport compared to hockey or rugby. Its not as dangerous and slower paced.

I like it for the same reason I like turn based strategy games. The way the players line up can appear to be some sort of trench warfare, where your trying to break through. And quite honestly, I only watch one football game a year.

The reason why I like the pats, is the firs 2 games I watched, both had the Pats winning.

The Pats win because of fumbles that are called Tuck Ruled (the one time I agreed the Raiders got hosed, they WERE screwed) and Spygate and cheating and a kicker saving the day (Brady hasn't won the Big One since Vinatieri left, has he, now?)

While I agree that football is boring compared to hockey and rugby, I would say its more dangerous. Rugby players tackle right and wrap up so there is less head shots and trying to injure people. And you don't see too many major injuries in hockey unless you get hit in the face with a puck.

He still the best QB, they win for a reason, thats all I can say. You can't win 24 straight (regular season) games on luck. 2 years ago he had some injury, that is the reason he no longer wins the Big One. The giants win was pure luck.

So Hockey and Rugby get more injuries per game because they are less dangerous. You clearly don't watch hockey or Rugby if you consider them to be less dangerous.

Thanks for pointing out that's REGULAR SEASON GAMES.

You can go 18-1 or 24-1, but if that 1 loss is the SUPER BOWL...it doesn't mean nothing, but it erases a LOT of that importance.

I'll take the '72 Dolphins over the '07 Pats any day...and the '78 Steelers and '89 49ers and '85 Bears and '98 Broncos and '66 Packers and so on before those '07 Pats.

24-1 PALES in comparison to 17-0 and a SB win or 14-2 or 15-1 or 12-2 and a SB win!
