as you know, my other version of this went down so, as a result i opened another version again same rules and try not to be a downer like saying "oh this sucks" or "we have an entire section on games" coz it really annoys me and probably other people too

One year on site.

Thursday will be one year for me here.Looking at playing a WTA password protect gunboat with certain players.Have send out invites to them.If they can't make it will open it up to other players.Small bet 25

.Looking at 8-9pm EST start time.

@figlesquidge.It will be between 1-2am GMT when I was hoping to start.

ava needs the game to start after 10pm EST.If that is fine with people who have said yes to there invite.
Still need players to offer to be alternate if orginal list can't make it.There are so many other players that are excellent gunboaters out there it will be a good game to test your mettle in.

Czech has football till 8:30 and by the time he gets home and settled I think will have no proplem with later start time.Barn I'm sure is always up for a good game and most likely won't object.

Alright will start two then 1 live and second with 24+ hours.Will need people to state there intrest for the longer game.
@hellalt- The Czech joined 2.5 months before me and look at how many games he has completed.As for my stats my GR keeps dropping but have three solos this month maybe I will move up.Fingers crossed.

@podium - You need to play (and win) more non-live games. IIRC, the live games only count for half. So a defeat in a non-live WTA classic would require a couple wins in live games to make up for it. I think there is also adjustments for some of the variants like gunboat or other maps too so they don't influence GR as much.

I have started playing more none live games recently in 4 right now.But just love the thrill of live games minus the high number of CDs you can encounter.That's why I want this one to be password protected so as to lower the risk of a CD.

Hmm, starting at 1am GMT. Well I realised we're on BST, making it only a midnight start which is good news. Just to confirm, it'd be started by this time tomorrow?
If so then sounds good, no important lectures early friday - so yeh.

Illegal Drugs in the UK

A History of the Site

I first joined this site a couple of years ago, only to leave (in a very regrettable fashion), for a year. Coming back a year later, I'm amazed at all the changes, not the least of which being my difficulty in finding the site that I knew as phpdiplomacy.

After seeing the request by some even newer members of the community throughout the forum for "tales of the days of yor", I'd like to challenge some of the older members of the site to attempt a history of this community.
