I've missed a lot of moves because of problems with game server

gameID=15834. At least last loosen move gave me -2 SCs. (((. I was refreshing page again and again and was getting error pages or page not load. It was really annoying. Could you renumerate me 2 SCs? It's all I want

CD decision too aggressive?

I have seen two players CD in games today, where it didn't look correct. In both cases, there last two moves were ones which they didn't have any choice (forced disband in retreat or build phase). Perhaps it is just coincidence, but has anyone else noticed this?

I want to quit because I found play by email simpler and more satisfying. This whole betting thing really drives me round the bend(especially, that is) and I'd like to have my account removed for that and several other reason.

Favorite Country to Play As?

what is everyones favorite country to play as and why? keep a running tally as you post.
For me its Italy all the way because you basically decide who you want to annoy and you can hide in tunis like its your job

Given that the game completely bugged out on us, I'd like to propose a draw or cancel. I know it's unlikely that Russia or Turkey will agree to it, but it was worth trying.

I think that Austria, Italy and Germany were bound to go down regardless of the bug.
I missed a chance to get one sc more due to the bug.
But if Turkey agrees with you and wants a cancel or a draw I will accept it as well.
My personal opinion is that a draw between Turkey Russia and France is the most fair end.

Yes, we had an autumn phase that lasted for 1 second.

We have 4 votes for a cancel, we could just all sigh and go our separate ways. Or make another game.

It's not like the game is mine or anything.
France and Turkey are also really strong and I accepted a draw with them.
I don't see why I should draw with England or Austria.
I believe you were the one most affected by the bug but even without it you didn't have any real chance since that juggernaut formed.
I will accept a cancel only if Turkey does.

To be perfectly honest, a draw right now would be better. England went back to 100

because he CDed. The rest of us would split his 15

... A win for everyone, so to speak.

timetokill and hellalt, i think you guys played very well setting up a juggernaught in the dark but the server issue i think messed up the game though maybe it didnt affect all equally. i think cancel would be the most fair if you dont want to spilt points with other players

Look not just because I am doing great......but this has been one of the best Live game (especially gunboat) I have played..........One CD and only one error is not that bad concediring all the errors and Cds that happen in other live games........

You're only doing 'great' by Russia's good graces. You'll lose this game, and by the time you change your mind over the cancel, hellalt will have rescinded his offer.

We're bordering on indecent disscussions concerning the rules of gunboat, but asking about a pause, cancel, or game errors is hardly gamebreaking.

And you shouldn't care, you've lost!

Ok now I KNOW you're just taking the piss.

Were we not in the same game where Turkey built army Smyrna and fleet Con for three years straight insuring he would never get the Ionian?

Oh and let's not forget where he moved to Con to make sure he wouldn't be able to get three builds. That was a brilliant move.

almost every post in a thread like this can be interpreted as an alliance or a hint to attack someone or not. that´s why it should be kept to a absolute minimum. this was a nice gunboat. don´t destroy that feeling with any more posts. if ppl want a draw or cancel it shows ingame so enough of this shit.
