Quick question?
Heres the situation... Lets say i have an army in both rhur and burgundy and a fleet in belgium and i want to move my fleet to picardy... My question is if i have burgundy support the move of belgium to picardy and have the army in rhur support hold at burgundy will my support be bumped from burgundy if it is attacked by 1 unit?

Multiple accounts but never in the same game
Would the moderators allow a player to have multiple accounts but never use more than one of them in the any one game?

A good reason for having multiple accounts would be to be able to play multiple personalities, like building up the reputation of one account to be an absolute loyalist but another account a habitual traitor.

Ok so this thread is so everyoen can call me stupid...
but is it really stupid to not expect and army to be able to Retreat into one of your own territories? I had no idea someone could use a retreat move offensively! instead of retreating to their their own territory they can retreat to my supply centre?

i'm sure somewhere on the full gaem site it will tell me that's ok but seriously I think i'm quiting a game over this...

Sitter needed.
Sorry to ask for a sitter again so soon, but I'm leaving for about ten days, and I won't have a scrap of technology where I'm going. I'm only in three games, one a gunboat, the other two are in the final stages of the game, and won't really require much negotiation, I just need someone to finish them out for me. My email is in my profile, please let me know if you are interested, I leave in about 36 hours.

Is it okay to "donate" your supply centres to you ally
Personally I would never do this but I would interested to hear what other player think.
Imagine a player who realizes that he can't win, rather than see his enemy take his supply centers he gives them to his ally, including supporting his ally's movement into his SCs. Ethical or not ethical?

Queston about gameplay?
If I move my troops onto an undefended territory, I will automatically gain control, correct?

The reason I ask is that the rules never mentioned anything about capturing territory.

Game processing has been disabled until I hear back from Dreamhost support. These things happen unfortunately, we're on shared hosting and I expect someone is doing some nonsense on the server we're on; in the past Dreamhost usually find the problem and get rid of it within 24 hr, get back to me, I extend the game times and things continue as usual.

Thanks for being patient though

lol at everyone who keeps saying "me too"
mysql failures are always a problem caused by the site, never by the user, which means it is global. *everyone* who tried to access the site earlier had that mistake

I have missed a spring move with this problem.
I've spent over 40 minutes trying to make my orders with no success.
They were processed as I fail to submit them :(
sceptic_ka (100 D)
14 Jun 09 UTC
Well it seems to be back to normal.
I'm thinking kestas still has processing disabled. One of my games has been stuck on "due now" for a couple of hours.

Doesn't this forum have the option of thumbtacking this thread to keep it always at the top? I spent a half an hour determining that while the timers on the phases seem OK, they are freezing as they enter "due now". Luckily, someone posted to this thread to bump it to the top so that now I can tell it is a global problem!
BigZombieDude (1188 D)

Is this likely to be sorted soon? Im far too impatient to have to actually wait....

Me too.
WhiteSammy (132 D)
14 Jun 09 UTC
well that explains the "due now" that is still present after 5 hours of a game being "due now"
TheGhostmaker (1545 D)
14 Jun 09 UTC
As Kestas has said, he is waiting on a response from Dreamhost before putting it back on.

If you are willing to play a game that lasts over a month, I'm sure a day's delay will just be good diplomacy time :)
