Breaking News
HAHAHAHAHAHAHHAAHA
CLINTON and the DNC paid for the fake Russia Dossier and probably broke the law. They also approved a deal to give US uranium to RUSSIA. Special Prosecutor will be appointed to investigate this corruption.

The Lion King is a statement about socialism
My gripe with the Lion King is that Scar is the hero. He overthrows a fucked up bourgoise and saves thousands of Hyenas living in poverty. After Simba flees Scar is totally written as converting the kingdom into a starving military dictatorship. This is absolutely a false representation of the amazing Utopia he envisioned. He said be prepared. I was ready. Why didnt his socialist revolution succeed?

He had plenty of food, was a decent colony manager, he had plenty of voter support and he created utopia. Nobody was supposed to go hungry. They make socialism the necessary evil of the story. But what was life like for the poor hyenas before Scar? They were basically low socioeconimic bafoons who had no voice.

Timon and Pumbaa are essentially ISIS, fringe radicals hiding in the jungle, adopting sinister borderline chaotic evil belief systems. And of course simba joins and they become domestic terrorists. If the story were larger its likely they would habe staged a protracted guerrilla war on hyena supply lines.

lol everywhere socialism and communism is enacted.. millions of people are murdered and sent to re-education camps and are politically purged. No thanks. It's about as evil of a political ideology as one can have.

you forgot the part where Simba sells a Canadian mining company with some mineral rights to uranium deposits (a controlled, regulated, non exportable mineral) in the USA to a Russian based corporation in an attempt to spread the wealth to all the poor dung beetles fighting for scraps.

Disney lacked the fortitude and bravery to present the Hyenas and Scar as what they really were: heroic liberators of the lower class.

actually, the greed of Scar made all the animals run away, breaking the invisible hand of the circle of life. in the film, they are destitute because there is no food.

smh brain it was so obvious how did you miss it?

Scars plan for Liberating the lower class

¤equal food for all
¤overthrow greedy racist proletariat
¤usher in an era of unified lion-hyena cooperation

What Disney wants the plan to become
¤starvation
¤diminished hunting grounds
¤infighting
¤depression

The outcomes of Scars reforms are hollywood filtered to paint a socialist regime change as evil and incapable of success. This is simply wishful thinking by big wig greedy captialists.

To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand The Lion King. The humour is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of cultural philosophy most of the jokes will go over a typical viewer’s head. There’s also Scar's socialistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation- his personal philosophy draws heavily from Shakespeare literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these jokes, to realise that they’re not just funny- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike The Lion King truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn’t appreciate, for instance, the humour in Scar's philisophical catchphrase “Truth is in the eye of the beholder,” which itself is a cryptic reference to Peterson’s psychological paper The Origins of Truth. I’m smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Woolverton's and Mecchi's genius wit unfolds itself on their television screens. What fools.. how I pity them.

And yes, by the way, i DO have a The Lion King tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. It’s for the ladies’ eyes only- and even then they have to demonstrate that they’re within 5 IQ points of my own (preferably lower) beforehand. Nothin personnel kid

Catalonia Referendum
Catalonia intended to hold a referendum on independence from Spain. The Spanish high court ruled it would be illegal. Catalonia decided to hold it anyway, and police are attacking people intending to cast votes.

Rabbits for Capt. Brad
Rabbits was cursed ever since they was stolen from the Native Americans. All the 'white' and 'brown' and 'black' and 'asian' rabbits (and any other non-native folks) should pack up and leave the pet cemetary to join Colonel von Brad in a potato peeling adventure. Who wants to be the rear admiral?
