To Americans
Learn from this mistake. When given a chance to elect someone like Bernie again, do it. Don't go for the person that's a part of the establishment. It could've been Bernie getting ready for his victory speech now. You threw that chance away when you LET the establishment decide Bernie wouldn't win. Learn from this mistake so that you don't make it again. Better luck next time.

The only people who care about Hillarys emails are radical conservatives and people voting gary johnson.

Johnson's numbers dropped considerably. Before the debates, he could get as high as 15% in some states and 12% in others. Now he's lucky to get 7% or 5%.

Going to call this map: http://www.270towin.com/maps/y7DON

-Pennsylvania should be closer than expected, but should still swing for Clinton: http://fivethirtyeight.com/features/a-transit-strike-in-philly-could-lower-turnout-among-black-and-poor-voters/

-Nevada and Florida, based on current Latino early voting rates, stay Democratic, North Carolina stays Republican.

-I think both third-party candidates are going to underperform. McMullin has stalled in Utah and never got off the ground in Idaho, and Johnson's numbers have been falling for a while now.

6 different Ohio polls averaged out to a +4 Clinton lead (CNN). If thats true its over by a mile

Trump has only 18% of the Latino vote
ND (879 D)

Pennsylvania, Michigan, 2nd Maine, North Carolina, Florida, Iowa, Ohio, Nevada, Colorado, and New Hampshire are all going Trump.

Trump wins with over 300 electoral votes. Quote/screenshot this.

Hes literally losing in NH by 11, in michigan by 4, in NC by 2, in Colorado by 6, in Ohio by 4.
DeathLlama8 (514 D)
08 Nov 16 UTC
Yeah, I think it's overblown too. Trump should narrow the gap a bit though (and Pennsylvania is only slightly more Democratic than the national average, which could put it in play in future elections)

Clinton and Kaine as presidents. Senate either ties or Republicans have a 51-49 majority. And House definitely stays Republican.

Also a common myth is that latino voters vote on illegal immigration. Not true. They usually vote democrat because of jobs and respect

Ok, here's my map: Clinton 323 Trump 215
http://www.270towin.com/presidential_map_new/maps/LLJJg.png
You can't win without a ground game, which adds 2% to Clinton's 3.5% lead for a 5.5% popular vote margin.

Also, Democratic wins in NH, PA, IN, NV, IL, WI give the democrats 52 senate seats.

Democrats get more votes for the house, but gerrymandering keeps the House in GOP hands even though they lose the election. Still +14 Democratic net pickups there.
ND (879 D)
08 Nov 16 UTC
lol he ignores every other NH poll that he doesn't like lol.
brainbomb (290 D)
08 Nov 16 UTC
So the other poll is +1 Hillary. Are you gonna cherry pick that to say trump wins lol

Polarization Self-Assessment Thread
Politics has changed A LOT in the past ten years ago. In this thread, I'd like to encourage you all to think about your past political views and how greatly you've polarized over time. What issues do you care about today vs then? Why? Any original ideas or do you rely on the media for cues? Interested to hear some real self-assessment here! :)

Why is it that all (or most rather) live games are gunboat these days? I miss playing a fast game where people actually communicate and work together like how most of the games on here are played. Any idea why? D:

Viable Strategies for Austria
Whenever I play Austria I feel like I'm strategically forced to attack Turkey. I think that if Turkey isn't killed in the early game, he is basically forced based to go through Austria if he wants to reach the rest of the world. I know that this can't be the case, but I don't see the other strategies.
I would love to learn of some other options for Austria so I don't do the same thing every time I get it.
