Well I suppose the point is that this very forum might be full of people that are actively promoting a particular social agenda that has nothing to do with diplomacy nor is 'fair and balanced'.

Maybe we need a daily thread to remind everyone (think of the children!) that this forum here is being actively manipulated and does not actually reflect anything like mainstream views.

Well it is pretty annoying to get on the forums here and read the same garbage and if someone has an opposing view, they get attacked for having ideas.

I have been away from webdip for a year or two and now notice that half the threads are either about LGBT issues or somehow get twisted into being about LGBT issues. It just seems a bit ridiculous and certainly a lot dishonest.

I mean they are basically ruining open and honest dialog by harping on and trying to sell you on something not related to the original thread topic .

@Jamiet99uk: what I'd like is for people to not actively steer conversations to be about their particular 'activism'. I think YES just for the young and impressionable a warning tag on the forums might not be a bad idea. Something like the one /b/ has:
