How to turn off Beta Mode/Invite to a passworded Beta game?

#1 Post by Triskelli » Mon Jan 27, 2025 4:50 pm

Hey, I've tried sharing a link to a newly created game with the Beta version of the Classic map, but my friends don't see a way to join or input a password. Is there a way to return to the classic mode or create a link to the password?

Check normal mode game link and change the game id.

I do not have any idea, why would anybody want to play with beta mode. That is a totally dead end. That one is a big pile of shit.

Unfortunately even if you send a link pointing to the legacy UI, if your friends have set the point-and-click interface as the default they will be redirected to it.
They need to go to their profile page, select the legacy UI, and join the game. After that they can re-select the new UI if they want.

Yes, it is true if they set the beta mode and open a beta link. But if they set the pointandclick mode and open a beta link, that crap will be opened.
