Face-to-Face Registry

If you are interested in playing Diplomacy in person once COVID has cleared, please join the Diplomacy Face-to-Face Registry.

Our intent is to build a world-wide list of Diplomacy players and for this registry to jumpstart face-to-face play once COVID has passed. Basically, it will serve as a resource for organizers trying to get a game, a club, or an event together. You can view the current map at the link below, but there's a pin missing where yours should be!

We strongly value privacy and will not share your contact information nor use it for any purposes other than promoting Diplomacy events and organizations. I just tested the tinyurl, and it worked no problem - so I don't know what happened when you tried. However, if this makes it easier - here is the full link from the MyMaps interface (I can't edit the original post, otherwise I'd put it there):

Hey I remember there being a few players listed in Zagreb Croatia 6-8 month ago, including myself, why have we been erased is this a.brand new list or what?

This is different from the webDip player map, where you are still listed.

Bill is creating a Face-to-Face registry, so Tournament Directors can find FtF players in their region.

Do you take newcomers into your circle? I am just a beginner player, I don’t know many subtleties, but I am very interested in mastering the game. And I really want to find new friends with the same interests, now I have such a need. COVID has shown very clearly how important socialization is.
