So jamie, the hammer is to make a statement. I don't like the lack of pressure that subs get. Nothing about macca was AI, and if meta holds worc would just be allowed to coast until like D3 on no content.

I'm not even going to go into the low hanging fruit of how subs influenced the last game.

After a full catchup, is Sabi still your odds-on largest scumread? And who are your top three?

Your comparison with the last game is deeply flawed. In the last game, Vecna subbed in and we caught him, much of which was due to my read on the person who subbed out. Kak subbed in and was also scum, but Kak was very active and played a good game and at no point was there an issue of Kak being "given a pass" or allowed to "coast".

I've now given my current scumreads.

Posting that made it in game information, and I do not think it would have been improper to consider whether Foxcastle would have been more or less likely to ask for a sub as mafia or town under those circumstances, or speculate if the circumstances were fabricated. It is my opinion that mafia tend to be more likely to sub out when they are not going to be able to participate as much, but it may just be WIFOM.

Mafia might me motivated to look like they had not realize the game had started to explain a lack of early posting, where town might be less likely to care if anyone found it suspicious.

Subsitution has historally been the karmic version of bankruptcy. Sub out and the slots sins are forgiven. So I'mma overreact and throw the baby out with the bathwater.

I am a joe average player, especially as town, and I've never claimed to be anything else. I do get annoyed when people like Ghug treat me like dogshit and say I'm terrible at the game.

I will policy kill people for egregious lurking - that has always been my position and it always will be. Rdrivera and Kak would fall into that space more than Worcej currently does, because he is a recent sub. I never "hope" for modkills, it's better if they don't happen.

Seriously why do you think trying to yeet someone who has only just subbed into the game is the best approach to take today instead of trying to find scum?

I think Sabi is mafia, mostly because of a lack of sincerity or effort.

I also vaguely had the impression that you were warming up to Sabi being town, though on a reread of your ISO, I only see this to reinforce this impression:

More the former than the latter. I think of the players I have an opinion on, my scumleans are currently Sabi, Chaqa, Ghug, DemonRHK. I think that you, Brainbomb, and Maniac seem town. Bozo possibly town too but less sure.

I ask because I actually think Sabi is town and that we should kill someone else. I am concerned that people just want to kill Sabi because they think Sabi’s play is bad rather than because they actually believe Sabi to be mafia. I don’t really see a mafia agenda in their posting, aside from maybe the early needling of Jamie which has subsided. the VAST majority of their posting reads to me like a townie who still hasn’t really gotten their feet under them as far as hunting goes.

I might acquiesce to Sabi being killed anyway if people really and truly feel there’s no other way, but I strongly believe there isn’t. we’ve had a really productive day 1 with several suspects coming out who might actually be mafia, we don’t need to be shrugging our shoulders here and thinking “well Sabi could be mafia and in any case isn’t helping town so it’s no loss.” which I fear some townies are doing. if Sabi is genuinely your top mafia suspect then fine, but if you’re finding yourself going “little of column A little of column B” then the reality is that you’re probably not as convinced Sabi is mafia as you think you are.

Probably slight scum. Quick iso suggests lazy engagement with only like one or two posts I actually like namely the one where he pushed back on you regarding Jamie and his posts about Eden. The rest of his posting seems like he doesn't particularly care nor that he is trying to solve. I get that out is parents weekend but I don't think that would take him out of posting at a reasonable clip. Kak, worcej, bozo, and him would be the people I'd be most inclined to vote out.
