How could he have gone back and read? He said he did not know whether Jack needed to kill his victims with his own knife in order for them to count for his win condition. If he had gone back and read he would have known.

He was aware that a knife item was in play. My question is how was he aware, if he had not read Jack's role?

I agree that frostwind's voting is consistent with a new player trying to protect a teammate. I am also still suspicious of the Computer_Genius slot, with his announcing he was town in his one D1 post before abandoning the game. Also, both times Computer_Genius became the lead wagon D1 votes started showing up elsewhere.

bozo feels off, and I like him for the other scumteam atm. The voteswapping feels like an attempt at an discovered lynch assurance.

I agree he's playing differently to his usual style (hence my own scumlean on him), but I'd like to hear what you've discovered.

What is Discovered Lynch Assurance?

Discovered Lynch is my play on a Discovered Check in chess. You place yourself on the wagon to prop it up, then bail on it to get your real target (The #2 wagon) Lynched, and I think he may have been trying to ensure (assurance) that came to pass.

As for bozo, he made a lot of posts D1 but not with a ton on content. He floated the idea of a town pr outting and being lynched D1.

His vote went from frost for self voting (on the notion he didn't wish to offend town) to doing that exact thing by parking on a missing player, going to vapor for less than 60 seconds before flipping back.

I was going to ask what you meant as well. I am still not following who you think I was trying to get lynched.

Computer_Genius was my preferred lynch among the three top wagons. When emc voted with three minutes left the vote was Vapor 5 Bob 5 Computer 4. I waited to see if anyone would change their vote. With one minute left and the vote still tied between Vapor and Bob, I changed my vote to Vapor to break the tie, as I thought he was more likely to be scum between the two. When I posted my vote and the thread refreshed, purple and xorxes had both voted for Bob. Since I knew Bob was then ahead, I switched my vote back to Computer to reduce the risk of another tie while indicating Computer was my preferred lynch.

making the vote Bob 5, Vape 3, a pretty comfy bus until Purple (11 min) and Frosty (7 min) put Vape up 5 to 4.

...then with 3 minutes left, emc ties it back up causing a flurry of votes to untie it in the very last minute with Demo getting in just under the wire.

Yeah, I can see how that vote would arouse suspicion, but I simply felt that it was a better vote compared to the one I had at the moment, Computer. I listened to Chaqa and put in a vote.

For the record Frost, I was not questioning your vote, only using it to illustrate the possible bus had filled up.

That was my interpretation of what bozo did as well. He may be scummy for other reasons, but I don't think that late day move was scummy at all.

Also, I do not know what you are referring to when you said I did "that exact thing". I voted for frostwind for self voting. Are you saying I was voting for Computer_Genius to not offend town?

I have a feeling that Bob's teammates were not around at EoD. The last minute way things happened also make me think ComputerGenius/TomBomb is on the OTHER mafia team from Bob, with his teammates being amongst the cadre that lynched Bob (EMC, Damo, Xorx, purple).

I still think Vapor/new Vapor may be Jack.

Agree with most of the analysis. Bob, as far as I saw, didn't have many people defending him near the end of the day, probably meaning his teammates were AWOL. I'm also interested in people like ItsHosuke, who've been posting without much substance. I understand I might be guilty of similar incidences, and I apologize: as a newbie and just another random townie, this game takes some getting used to.

To be fair, being an ordinary town member makes it less of a sacrifice to have me lynched, and since this is a great start for town, I doubt I'll be missed much. So if that's what you guys want, you guys can have it.

I put a little trap in my post by purposefully confusing who Tom had replaced. The fact Frost doesn't realize this indicates to me he isn/t paying super close attention to the game, which is actually a town tell to me.
