Voltron was a staple of my youth. My brother had all 5 of the bigger plastic versions of the lions, the castle, and some other things if I recall correctly (like the read-along storybook records). Coolio, that was a long shot.
I think I originally looked at Voltron but then discounted it / him because I only remember seeing it many years ago, and I had it in my mind that it was set on a future version of Earth, which fell foul of Question 6.
However when I looked on Wikipedia I noticed that in the original TV series it was explicitly not Earth, but some fantasy far-away-across-the-universe planet that he actually came from.
