Squiggs appears to be actively trying to pursue scum, this, along with his "gut reads" really makes his suspicious in my opinion. He's trying to base his reads off of basically nothing.

You & Carl, in my opinion, are acting like a town, and certainly appear to be trying to find the real scum rather than scapegoating people.

Its simple its a smart thing to do as Scum. Act like you are doing everything, when really you've done absolutely nothing it was one of the criteria I put on for my list
This was EXACTLY what I tried to do as mafia on the first game I played here

If your first game is as scum, never use that as the basis of what is scum behavior.

And why not? Also it wasnt my first game, Ive played live games before, I was just pointing out what I did as scum, which was poke holes in everyone's arguments and ask questions. Anyone who does that(like you) are scum.

Well if it wasn’t your first game then I guess the point might be moot, but I have this long running schtick where I approach newer players with a different set of behavior criteria. It’s decently accurate because newer scum players aren’t going to approach the game the same way as an experienced scum player.

Though the distinction between it and new town players is a more useful result. Carl Tuckerson being a pretty clear towny in my eyes, for example.

What questions? Can you please repeat them here? I haven’t really reread the game so I may have just missed it. I also asked Squigs to do the same because I haven’t gone back to see what he asked me either.

If you’re town then it’s in town’s best interest for you to have gone through with what I said. If you’re scum it’s also in town’s best interest to make sure you’re not following Tom’s footsteps.

Post some reads and ask some people questions about their reads. You’re doing this bizarre bit like an umpire where you give impartial judgments on how people are arguing but you’re ultimately just standing there and not advancing either team’s win condition. It’s like watching a shortstop call balls and strikes. Less coaching more doing please

Xorxes or ND or Durga (or whoever): is that similar to his play in the last game as town? (I know, it's ironic that I didn't read the game I ran... But I can see it being the cause of him getting so scumread that town lost...)

Yeah, this reminds me a lot of teacon's town play last game. Scum!teacon would likely be able to replicate it though, as it's more of a probative style of play.

From my limited knowledge on bailiffs, I don't think they actually jail people. I could be wrong on that, but in my previous games I did the same thing with "Doctor" when it was actually medicine man or something. I just simplify names to make sense to me, because I can't be bothered to memorize the technical role names for every game. But I've never played with a jailer before, so I don't know if it's normal.
