its a personal theory i have!! i havent taken any effort to prove it but i feel like its true. scum are trying to accrue allies throughout the day, and day 1 is volatile and can land on anyone quickly. it makes sense to me lmaooo

in tfb's iso, he never comments on macca or worcej in any sort of alignment indicative way. how could he, they didnt talk. but then he suddenly includes worcej in his elimination pool. that's weird af

i don't believe this is weird. POE necessarily has to have everyone in or out, and you don't need to post about someone to have thoughts - scum!tfb especially. Lack of commentary is not lack of a read

Like Chaqa you literally gave Worcej a super hard time over his participation levels, yet Bona gets to drop out of the game for long periods because "he's at school" and that's absolutely fine for you.

my guess is that people aren't thinking on that level, that scum's primary concern is just getting through the day without being linked together as having an objective. then at night one they can more actively plan this.

but i agree with you, my intentions for my scum game are not to do this, and to try and do what you said. but i don't think that's the natural inclination. (bozo is going to scumread me for this sentence)

POE is 'not clearly town'. That's how people have been constructing their POEs this entire game, and they're been relatively open and clear with their reasoning. This post is perhaps the most clear recent example.

i'm saying that your argument is right. that is the optimal strategy. that's what i would try and do. i don't think everyone realizes/enacts this, though. that's my theory.
