I mean, I was wrong about Hamilton. I have an issue catching the "obvious" scum, apparently lol
Re: MAFIA 63: THE SCOURGE [HIDDEN]
Yes, definitely agree with that.damo666 wrote: ↑Tue Jan 12, 2021 5:20 pmYes, obviously.
Basically what I was geting at is we should totally ignore Chaqa's 'ignore/punish a last hour claim' proposal.

Why do you think Bona is showing this annoyance now but wasn't when he was the lead wagon near the end of EoD?President Eden wrote: ↑Tue Jan 12, 2021 5:23 pmHe seems more annoyed here, but that cuts toward town.Chaqa wrote: ↑Tue Jan 12, 2021 5:20 pmI don't know about Eden, but we played two or three games of Among Us last night where Bona was innocent but got blamed for kills, and his reactions were VERY similar to how he is reacting here.Hellenic Riot wrote: ↑Tue Jan 12, 2021 5:06 pm

Also, all you fuckers who are townreading Bona for self voting, remember that... Hamilton Brian already did that exact ploy. I can absolutely believe someone like brainbomb would tell his noob teammates that that's a great ploy to reduce pressure on them, and then himself be the person who pressured HB for it before easing off as soon as he could.
That's part of the reason I think he's a bad kill, as well as logically it making little sense for him to be scum based on Day 2.
That said, I'm wondering how much stock we should really be putting into this stuff - split-second reactions are a bit different from 48 hour phase games even if the pressure is the same.

The difference between how HB and Bona reacted to having a massive early wagon on them is partly why I'm townreading Bona

I didn't know what what going on EoD 2 since I was 20 pages and 4 hours behind or something.Hellenic Riot wrote: ↑Tue Jan 12, 2021 5:28 pmWhy do you think Bona is showing this annoyance now but wasn't when he was the lead wagon near the end of EoD?President Eden wrote: ↑Tue Jan 12, 2021 5:23 pmHe seems more annoyed here, but that cuts toward town.Chaqa wrote: ↑Tue Jan 12, 2021 5:20 pm

Do you have any riposte to my dismantling of your grand theory, or indeed any reaction to it whatsoever? I notice you're backing to not voting people who were part of it, so is that a sign you no longer believe in it?Bonatogether wrote: ↑Tue Jan 12, 2021 5:36 pmI didn't know what what going on EoD 2 since I was 20 pages and 4 hours behind or something.Hellenic Riot wrote: ↑Tue Jan 12, 2021 5:28 pmWhy do you think Bona is showing this annoyance now but wasn't when he was the lead wagon near the end of EoD?President Eden wrote: ↑Tue Jan 12, 2021 5:23 pm

HR, in the world where Bona is town, who do you think we should vote today?

Cuz it's been a solid week of him being in the crosshairs since then. If you're town that's pretty draining, you're trying to solve as best you can and your team is ready to kill you.Hellenic Riot wrote: ↑Tue Jan 12, 2021 5:28 pmWhy do you think Bona is showing this annoyance now but wasn't when he was the lead wagon near the end of EoD?President Eden wrote: ↑Tue Jan 12, 2021 5:23 pmHe seems more annoyed here, but that cuts toward town.Chaqa wrote: ↑Tue Jan 12, 2021 5:20 pm

It's worth pointing out that he was annoyed at being sussed day 2, it's just increased because the suspicion has lingered. I know the obvious answer is "Well go solve then so people can townread you," and your case against his theory of the game is still solid.
I can't really explain why I think Bona would be more likely to peace out of this game and go play EUIV or Minecraft as mafia and why his fighting back and getting emotionally invested in not being killed is a town thing for him. I just think it is.
I can't emphasize enough how much I hate that worcej called Bona town and voted him anyway. Are we sure that Brian couldn't have just fucked up the subs there? Because nothing against Brian but he seems like the type of guy that could.

Also emc vanished again. I swear the only way he actually participates is if he's being suspected.

Probably Fluminator or Aarodactyl.
But I'm not seeing that world currently.
Re: MAFIA 63: THE SCOURGE [HIDDEN]
In the absence of any further info I am happy with either a celaph or Bozo flip and will use my vote on whichever makes a Bona flip less likely.
I just want to clarify my position.

Re: MAFIA 63: THE SCOURGE [HIDDEN]
The fact that almost all the people I don't have townreads on have eased off of Bona and either soft-defended or hard-defended him (apart from the ones who never went for Bona in the first place) isn't really convincing me to look elsewhere at present, either.

Why not Bozo or celaph?

Nobody has made a remotely convincing case on either of them... Or indeed much of a case at all.Chaqa wrote: ↑Tue Jan 12, 2021 5:58 pmAaro voted ghug and has been pretty town.Hellenic Riot wrote: ↑Tue Jan 12, 2021 5:55 pmProbably Fluminator or Aarodactyl.

Why not Bozo or celaph?
I pointed out both at the time and again last night that I really hated Aaro's equivocation on the HB wagon and the way that he signalled an option to jump to it, but excused himself from doing so whilst emc was in the lead.

I completely missed that part. My mistake.celaph wrote: ↑Tue Jan 12, 2021 5:04 pmDid you read the part at the beginning? Not really. That's my problem. You obviously disagree on Bozo. What is your scum bozo argument?aarodactyl wrote: ↑Tue Jan 12, 2021 3:19 pmDo you scum read anyone? Because you’re not in any of your readscelaph wrote: ↑Tue Jan 12, 2021 9:07 am@donny I reread everyone and have some changes related to my earlier list. My problem is that I see reasons to townread almost everyone to some degree. One consequence of that is I think I can post decent defenses for Bona, Bozo, and myself. Of these I think Bona makes for the best kill as I have the easiest time building a scum Bona narrative.
<reads>
Bozo hasn't seemed scummy by going on long tunnels this game. That's my scum bozo argument. I know it's not strong, so I might swap.

Honestly on your brian point, that may be true. On cop, I am somewhat worried they may be shot tonight but I leave the time to reveal up to them.President Eden wrote: ↑Tue Jan 12, 2021 5:52 pmCuz it's been a solid week of him being in the crosshairs since then. On emc, I think I would okay with yeeting him, worcej, flum, or bozo. I feel that bona is town and I think whatever read I have had on bozo is null. Celaph, I feel is town unless there is a case I missed.

@Chaqa
You said that your big tunnel on EMC was all a reaction test. What do you think about the people who joined you on it yesterday?
