@Hamilton since you're around, can you tell me how you feel about the top posters (except bb lol). Not just town vs scum, but how would you characterize their gameplay?
Just getting back into this; Ezio I will get back to you with some of my "feels" after I get some reading done.

Listen, there seems to be less time for mafia when NOT working than when working. I don't get it.

You guys remember that guy who used to play here? He deleted a discord before it was cool. Brent? Brandon?
Um, why are you bringing this up. that was like 7 years ago.
It was a joke about ignoring you.
I dont find that funny. I would prefer that drama from almost a decade ago be allowed to retire if thats possible. I was gonna message you privately but I dont know if thats allowed. but this isnt game related and please find something else. im sure theres other things to bring up.

Brain, is the goal of your town list to be provocative or do you actually think you've solved the game?
I think it is wrong. the list is almost certainly wrong. I was hoping people would tell me what is wrong about it other than ghug.

And I dislike his interaction with Brain, but he already explained it, but it still look odd.
What about it is odd to you? You mean odd as in "outside of D1 posting" or odd in another way?

I'm sorry, I really wasn't trying to start anything. The goal was purely silliness and I figured we'd all moved past it enough that it wouldn't be an issue to bring it up.

To add to my woes, we've moved my 79yo mother up from north carolina to move in with us. As the only child it's the right thing to do. But then my son and his partner were spending too much on rent so we decided to throw down, told them "move in here until September and save money for a cheaper place."

Full effing house.

Stepping away and returning here, there is just NOT a lot of substance. There's been energy spent on the mech portion, and I have contributed to that. I think my experience suggests that the whipper-uppers of that dialogue tend to be mafia trying to make noise to seem "solvable." Everything else seems to just be back-and-forths to fill the gaps.

Brain is there looking like they're agitating reactions but I don't see anyone biting. I think that's their normal play and I'd say it is NAI.

I am having the damnedest time pulling any reads out of anyone.

Huh. Vecna looked like he was catching up, but he just responded (badly) to a handful of random things, and then wandered off again.

He was an old man, who fished alone in a skiff in the Gulf Stream.
They sat on the Terrace and many of the fishermen made fun of the old man and he was noteangry. Others, of the older fishermen, looked at him and were sad. But they did not show it and they spoke politely about the current and the depths they had drifted their lines at and the steady good weather and of what they had seen. The successful fishermen of that day were already in and had butchered their marlin out and carried them laid full length across two planks, with two men staggering at the end of each plank, to the fish house where they waited for the ice truck to carry them to the market in Havana. Those who had caught sharks had taken them to the shark factory on the other side of the cove where they were hoisted on a block and tackle, their livers removed, their fins cut off and their hides skinned out and their flesh cut into strips for salting.
When the wind was in the east a smell came across the harbour from the shark factory; but today there [11] was only the faint edge of the odour because the wind had backed into the north and then dropped off and it was pleasant and sunny on the Terrace.
“Santiago,” the boy said.
“Yes,” the old man said. He was holding his glass and thinking of many years ago.
“Can I go out to get sardines for you for tomorrow?”
“No. Go and play baseball. I can still row and Rogelio will throw the net.”
“I would like to go. If I cannot fish with you. I would like to serve in some way.”
“You bought me a beer,” the old man said. “You are already a man.”
“How old was I when you first took me in a boat?”
“Five and you nearly were killed when I brought the fish in too green and he nearly tore the boat to pieces. Can you remember?”
“I can remember the tail slapping and banging and the thwart breaking and the noise of the clubbing. I can remember you throwing me into the bow where the wet coiled lines were and feeling the whole boat shiver and the noise of you clubbing him like chopping a tree down and the sweet blood smell all over me.”

dear sweet and cool

who do you suppose would openly scumclaim to me?

or allow me to do this as some elaborate gambit ploy?
brainbomb seems very deep down the rabbit hole of his own questions, and is not concerned by anything else.

i was told he changed. still seems like good ole brainbomb to me.
when was that? and who made such a claim?

its also true
