Also there’s no need to vote on my other scum reads. Kit I may be wrong. Xorxes will be interesting if he makes it to D2 and Bionic is still new and probably just doesn’t like me.BunnyGo wrote: ↑Sun Nov 24, 2019 1:21 pmHere’s another cookie dargo.dargorygel wrote: ↑Sun Nov 24, 2019 1:12 pmProbably won't be on today.
ItsHosuke came on with adequate attention, so I'll remove my vote.
We do need to lynch someone today, a no-lynch is, as usual, less than stellar.
No, statistically we won't hit scum today.
But the value is not jUST hitting scum. But towards end of game every vote or not vote is valuable data. Missing out this time because we might hit an inno is short term thinking.
We have four groups looking to kill someone. Once who those four groups actually are becomes known, we can draw connections that just might help, yes?
Also... in a strange way, maybe every lynch reduces Jack's chances. We might get lucky and lynch a woman.
This D1 is even more difficult than most D1s. Too many hunters. And too many hiders.
I don't have any clear scumreads. Most of my gut scum reads at this point are from lack of posting. Which probably isn't really NAI. (although every scum team seems to have a lurker... so does every town team.)
So this morning I am voting for a gut reaction. Honestly, that's what most of you are doing, too. Y'all just articulate your gut reactions more articulately.
Bob seems nervous to me.
VOTE ##BOBMCBOBYou are my favorite town read right now. Fighting for first post. Articulating my thoughts. Not saying useless garbage to make it seem like you have something to say. You’re the best! Enough I’m going to sheep you because juuuuust maybe foxy (Kitsune) is actually busy.
##VOTE BOBM

I don't think there are any provisions for a draw. I have no idea what scenario you have in mind where Hyde would help town, since Hyde loses if town wins, and they win if mafia wins.

Something to note for the future
IF we find out that chaqa is not Jekklish... but being clever chaqa... there are some interesting connections between chaqa and ND that might prove to be scum communicating pre-QT.

Re: MAFIA 51 - LONDON BY GASLIGHT [HIDDEN]
Yes, and we don't want scum to know what they will be doing.
Re: MAFIA 51 - LONDON BY GASLIGHT [HIDDEN]
Scum never do that though.dargorygel wrote: ↑Sun Nov 24, 2019 1:24 pmSomething to note for the future

I don't really have a good feeling on his posts so far and his wagon looks good, and since Temy's advocating for no lynch it's best for me to stay away from that.

Making yomi levels public is the likely way you don’t get offed. Do you care?

Re: MAFIA 51 - LONDON BY GASLIGHT [HIDDEN]
Say Hyde and 1 scum from each team. Maybe another town too, commuter or VT. Now what happens?
Re: MAFIA 51 - LONDON BY GASLIGHT [HIDDEN]
My first thought of Vecna focusing entirely and exclusively on ND also made me wonder whether they were scum together, but then they both disappeared and nothing came of it.
Re: MAFIA 51 - LONDON BY GASLIGHT [HIDDEN]
This was weird for me too coming to forum from F2F:ItsHosuke wrote: ↑Sun Nov 24, 2019 1:29 pmDo they not?xorxes wrote: ↑Sun Nov 24, 2019 1:27 pmScum never do that though.dargorygel wrote: ↑Sun Nov 24, 2019 1:24 pmSomething to note for the future

THE SCUM GET A PRIVATE CHAT DURING NIGHTS!!!!!!
It’s insane. Can talk to their hearts content. So no need to signal in public.
Re: MAFIA 51 - LONDON BY GASLIGHT [HIDDEN]
If Hyde is alive, Jekyll is alive as well. Hyde would clearly aim for the VT if they can identify them. Or they could shoot Jekyll (which is the same as holding).BunnyGo wrote: ↑Sun Nov 24, 2019 1:30 pmSay Hyde and 1 scum from each team. Maybe another town too, commuter or VT. Now what happens?

Re: MAFIA 51 - LONDON BY GASLIGHT [HIDDEN]
Yeah I always draw scum in F2F so I've learnt how to signal, but the meta in my play group is I always get scum and therefore I always get lynched D1
The one time I got scum here I messed up horribly and got lynched D2 so idk how efficient scum chat can be

Yomi (黄泉) is the Japanese word for the underworld.

Yomi (読み), meaning reading, such as the on'yomi and kun'yomi of kanji
Yomi, an effeminate character in the manga Riki-Oh
Koyomi Mizuhara, a fictional character in the anime and manga series Azumanga Daioh
Yomi (ヨミ), a fictional character in the anime and manga series Babel II
Yomi Isayama (黄泉), a fictional character in the manga series Ga-rei and the prequel anime series Ga-Rei: Zero
Yomi (YuYu Hakusho) (黄泉), a fictional character in the anime and manga series YuYu Hakusho.

I only know it as “reading”. Used in games as “reading your opponent’s mind and intentions”.
If there are obvious plays, then you do the counter, and they learn to not do the obvious, etc etc.
But making all the possibilities public makes it harder for them to guess correctly.
