I'm stongly considering creating my own Thief guild, so I'll know for sure it's not a Cult. I'm looking for one more person that I can trust to join me.

If that doesn't pan out, I'll probably create a Popular coalition and hope Doshy's is a Cult, because I doubt I can beat them on popularity.

Maybe he thinks I'm a cult, so he wants no-one to join and then be the most popular popular coalition with only one member, and get all 24 points to himself.
However, I am not a cult :)
