Our gut feelings have not gotten us anywhere. What if we mass claim, and daykill the most dangerous to town role?

I am wanting discussion. I think it's all or nothing.
Discussion? I can discuss.
What do you think of a mass-claim? Particularly as I am suggesting?

It's interesting. But I think we've got some good ideas who scum are, hunting roles could be a distraction.

What do you think these roles would be?

Ghug was right about me.
I am bad at this game, as town.

As scum, I can be good at causing confusion, getting certain people to townread me, helping my team mates hide among the townies, and sometimes finding PRs too.

But scumhunting is, let's face it, something I'm bad at. I am a very auditory person, and not at all a visual one. In face-to-face discussions I am often praised as a great listener and a great speaker. I am very comfortable having long conversations and long telephone calls. I can often pick up confidence, reluctance, hesitation, insincerity, and many other cues from a person's voice. None of this is possible for me in written exchanges. My brain is not wired that way. I am perfectly literate but the art of examining competing written statements from the guilty and the innocent, and telling them apart, is often beyond me. This is why, expect in cases of obvious sarcasm, I tend to take most people's statements in this game at face value in quite a black-and-white way. Words are black and white. The nuance would be in your voices, but I can't hear them.

I've played Mafia face-to-face, and I've played Diplomacy face-to-face. In both cases, I usually play well. I can glean important insights about my opponents from our verbal exchanges which are simply not present, for me at least, in these walls of text.

I am sorry. I have genuinely done my best. I sincerely felt Ghug was scum. Sorry Ghug.

Since it seems that I am harming town by being active and scumhunting so ineptly, I will fall silent for the rest of this phase and I will limit myself to 20 posts in the following day. Consider this an experiment to see if town performs better while Jamie T shuts up for once.

Our next day, is it time to mass-claim?
Let's see who, if anyone, is Nkd and we can discuss it first part of D5.

I just saw now that if I didn'tmove we would have killed Kgray. I tought it was a tie but I didn't count Flum. I just want to throw myself out of the window, this is the worst game I played in a long time.
Not sure if this is a scummy post or a townie one.

Could be a face saver if he did in fact save scumkgray.

Not PR hunting. It would be claiming. The discussion would be about which roles we think are most dangerous to town. I do not think we should declare that before claiming.

Nope. I don't see it. Especially because of chaqa's relentless push, whom I now see as Scummy McScummipants.

Fair.
I don't see bunny as much scummy as before, but we can definitely still focus those other three.

Not at all. IF we do this, we should claim. And then discuss which role to daykill.

Not in isolation.
But our 'gut feeling' primacy has not been effective.
I hope adding the element of known roles would help.
Scum will be trying to pick off the roles THEY find most dangerous. (again, not in isolation.)
In this game, where roles are NAI... maybe town should do the same thing.
