Don't be hard on yourself about your abilities - you have actually done a bunch of work to convince me that rdr is possibly scum. I still need to iso RDR properly and come to my own conclusions, just low on time. But I feel pretty good that you are at least town, and that rdr may be scum, based on your interactions.yavuzovic wrote: ↑Mon Apr 26, 2021 11:47 amThey are the half of the scum team then lol
But please consider this. They don't have scumreads on each other. Rivera said he thinks that Macca should be eliminated then voted for Flum. They didn't vote for each other not a single time. Also non of them were on RHK on Day 1.
I'm usually mean to myself for not being a good town player but I'm more confident about this.
##vote Macca because they're more likely to be eliminated and it will be safer to kill Rivera once Macca flips scum

I was right to compare your reads to Flum's. Do you share some mental connection or a QT?Hamilton Brian wrote: ↑Mon Apr 26, 2021 1:14 pmDoing a bunch of typing on a phone, in bed, isn't a nice way to transition to sleep.ghug wrote: ↑Mon Apr 26, 2021 2:45 amWhy not explain now?Hamilton Brian wrote: ↑Mon Apr 26, 2021 2:37 amI’ll be moving off Celaph though. I’ll explain tomorrow but I’m a simple man, I feel like it’s staring us in the face.
I hate that Macca has been absent so far. I mean, really absent. Lowering the bar that EMC has set. I understand the desire to kill, but a piece of me wonders if he isn't a diversion. A miskill might be helpful for information but not when a bunch of people are on that wagon out of "policy." It stinks and is worth some more consideration.
With reference to last night's post, I am having my doubts of Celaph as scum. The VCA from Day 1 might have them as a possibility, and I am not discounting their membership on that team.
However, I am more suspicious of these following: kgray, chaqa, and Maniac. Add to that someone in the pool of Jamie, Damo, and Rivera.
The top three are around the vote movements from Days 1 and 2. The lower three due to the number of roleblock claims.
I don't like the End vote and from the looks of it, no one else does.
Obviously I need to approach this again, with some more reading, along with some other big pieces and in quick fashion.
Darg is clear as town. Ghug might be but could be hiding behind godfather or werewolf.
Why the number of roleblocks is suspect for you?

Kakarroto, do you mind sharing what you are implying here? I assume you are referring to D1 voting?
Is this when Rivera votes for me after having been on Darg most of the day, while ... yeah, I just am not sure what you're pointing at.

Thank you.
##VOTE Flum
I will now be getting some much needed sleep. See you in the morning (or night I guess).
Re: MAFIA 66: The Battle for Olympus - Game Thread [hidden]
I'm bad at the game, though, so I'm not very likely to be NK'd.

Re: MAFIA 66: The Battle for Olympus - Game Thread [hidden]
@Macca
jic you haven't noticed I have moved back to Flum.
The darg thing was probably just a mistake.

Well, I would also vote you, but you weren't a wagon.Hamilton Brian wrote: ↑Mon Apr 26, 2021 1:20 pmReading your mentions of Flum over their entrance into the game, the vote for Flum doesn't seem very convincing.rdrivera2005 wrote: ↑Mon Apr 26, 2021 8:51 amAt this point I agree Macca should probably go today. We can't afford him later in the game. But it will be a dead day if we just pile on him.Kakarroto wrote: ↑Mon Apr 26, 2021 2:12 amvotecheck! rd and yavu snuggle together, what a lovely relationship. bona is on kgray, who is on flum, who is on chaqa. dargo supports kgray. and then two four on ones (both not voting) where I, jamiet, chaqa and damo want Macca to do something and maniac, hamilton, food and ghug wants celaph gone.
jamie just wants to end all of this.
votecheck result! town is headless and mafia is riding the waves.

I don't get how you came to this conclusion, Yav is an experienced player that is trying to play "the look how I am lost town" card and you are buying it.foodcoats wrote: ↑Mon Apr 26, 2021 1:24 pmDon't be hard on yourself about your abilities - you have actually done a bunch of work to convince me that rdr is possibly scum. yavuzovic wrote: ↑Mon Apr 26, 2021 11:08 amPerhaps I am not fully understanding this. When Rivera drops the vote on me, it avoids making the Demon wagon even more concrete, right? It then presents 2 wagons tied for 3 votes. Wouldn't that allow scum to just drop a vote there and if one of those two wagons builds of steam allows Demon to escape Day 1.
Demon had a 50/50 chance at self-preservation and happened to land on Kak instead of me (which makes me consider Kak is confirmed town). Darg then made it a foregone conclusion.
Maniac looks really lousy here...but actually not. If Maniac were scum would they be interested in tying the Demon/Kak votes? Maniac, why'd you feel the need to have the 7th vote on Demon when they were set to be killed?

Thanks; I was struggling with this when the speculation around the PR was made.foodcoats wrote: ↑Mon Apr 26, 2021 1:02 pm
-Macca shading your cop claim is so scummy it hurts. Macca is trying to say, "You never know!" and destabilize currently widely-accepted beliefs among the town (that you are town-cop, and ghug is clear or WW or GF) when in fact we have pretty good reasons to believe this gamestate:
---We know based on setup there's a cop
---and they are not dead,
---and no one has counterclaimed.
-You are more likely telling the truth because
---If you are scum fakeclaiming, the real cop will at some point want to alert town, and
---can't wait too long at risk of being NK'd by EITHER the WW or the mafia, and
---we have enough data on dargorygel at this point that the cop revealing themselves becomes a solid trade, because we would catch you (reducing the scum team further) and get excellent additional insight from reviewing your posts, claims, and votes, as well as reactions to your claim, your posts, and your votes; plus
---they would have scans/scan attempts to share and have been RB'd, providing addition information about the RB claims.
TL;DR if you are not the cop we'll know very soon, but it's incredibly unlikely given how much there would be to unpack if someone else claimed cop.

Re: MAFIA 66: The Battle for Olympus - Game Thread [hidden]
The number of roleblocks, to me, suggests town roleblocked scum, and scum roleblocked town, meaning of those 4 people claiming, 2-2 town/scum. Now, what my tiny peanut brain doesn't understand is why would scum jeopardize themselves by outing that they've been blocked? The town PRs would have a sense that the people claiming RB would be playing for the other side. I think.rdrivera2005 wrote: ↑Mon Apr 26, 2021 1:25 pm

No, and No.
Why the number of roleblocks is suspect for you?
I need to read the setup again to see who blocks who.
I am probably way off base anyway because I don't think I've noticed anyone else making a deal of it.

@foodcoats
I actually did not consider that macca might have 'come back' and read the QT, but was unable to speak with the scumteam, and with his apparent 'coming back' hesitation, wanted to set up the potential of a cc.
hmmm.

Yeah, town roleblocker and mafia factional roleblock.
-vote to send any mafia
Ah Christ, never mind. Damn it, here I thought I was maybe on to something. So maybe town roleblocker got lucky, but scum wouldn't (shouldn't?) announce it?

I would expect them to announce it because they would know the townie RBer would know they had blocked, and would be looking for acknowledgement. It DOES head a bit down WIFOM, though.Hamilton Brian wrote: ↑Mon Apr 26, 2021 1:56 pmYeah, town roleblocker and mafia factional roleblock.
