I don't think it's fair to delay a game open to all, in order to show favour to a closed, selctive, invite-only game where Durga gets to decide who is allowed to play.

We aren't delaying it as a favor to Durga. We are delaying it if we can't get enough players, which we would do even if there wasn't an invitational. If we have enough players, we won't delay it.

I also agree with Durga that it would probably be best if we didn't have multiple players playing in both.

Have you confirmed your players for your tournament? If yes, why don't you just announce the player list? If no, can you indicate how many will be playing in yours? Then everyone else can know who potentially can/cannot play in this game and whether the numbers can be made here.

knowing how much durga hates MVP awards and elitism in mafia, i sincerely doubt that her intent was to make a closed selective game and more just she probably wanted to try a setup with people who she thinks would enjoy it. theres no reason why dozens of mafia games cant go on concurrently. I play in 5 or 6 mafia games at once sometimes.

if she wants the players in hers to only play in her invite game so their focus is on her game, then thats fine.

I just know she hates elitist stuff and didnt want mafia to become that way on here.

The biggest challenge for me would be remembering what role I am, who my partners are, and what others have done in what games. I feel like I'd forget which game I'm townreading someone versus scumreading someone and end up mixing things up.

It might be easier if they didn't start simultaneously, but then you have the matter of the start of one game taking people's attention away from the end of another when activity is already low. At that point you might as well just run them consecutively instead.

you should never sign up for 2 or more games at the same time unless youre well aware of what youre doing.

and this isnt about calling ppl out but webdip participation isnt strong enough to justify multigaming
