And again Fox, I responded to all of the current questions you have levied at me. You ignored one and dismissed the other. I don’t believe you have asked for anything further since then.
How am I to defend myself if you aren’t asking questions? You’ve already declared me guilty and want me to persuade you that I am not without a means to do so.

It makes sense to have a vote on me. I really only have a claim that could be a scum fake claim, which is unprovable until D6, my fierce examination of the Massclaim, and the fact that everybody loves me to prove I'm to wn. What I don't get is why you say you don't feel great about the Vapour flip, and really want to see Worcej flip (which is a counter wagon I could see happening), but instead of voting for Worcej as though two statements logically suggest, you vote for me. Why?Foxcastle wrote: ↑Wed Jul 24, 2019 3:45 pmNo, then you'd be playing defense. I'd have a fundamentally different view of that than your current strategy which is to go on the offense against me. I think it's interesting that Percy took the same tack. Rather than explaining how I was wrong or how my read was unjustified, he tried to play cool and throw it back in my face.

Limiting your response to only answering questions I ask isn't helpful. But if you need handholding:worcej wrote: ↑Wed Jul 24, 2019 3:52 pmAnd again Fox, I responded to all of the current questions you have levied at me. You ignored one and dismissed the other. What have you done that only town would do?
What have you done that scum would never do?

I am contendedly leaving my vote on vapor. Vapor is fun, and I'll be sorry to see him go, but he is scum-nervous... (sorry Vape...)
I also wanna make note of page 168. Xorxes puts on his professor hat, here. He gives pretty pointed and thorough advice to flailing vape (when that flailing is attacting votes.)
No one would disagree that xorxes is experienced and good at this game. It's why he is NKed so often. Usually, around now, we start to wonder why xorxes has NOT been NKed. If fairly-inexperienced Vapor is overreacting in press, maybe scumbuddy Vapor is nudging him.
Vapor's buddying of xorxes also makes sense, then.
When Vapor flips scum, let's remember this interaction.
I hope to be back for EoD. But Wednesdays...

Okay, going mobile for a couple hours.

I shouldn’t have to articulate these responses if you actually oaid attention to me. Since you have not:Foxcastle wrote: ↑Wed Jul 24, 2019 3:55 pmLimiting your response to only answering questions I ask isn't helpful. What have you done that only town would do?

1. I have fought venomously against unverifiable claims because they expose our PRs to the scum team. This setup/game provides a unique advantage to scum because they have counter claims to make. There was only a couple of ways to verify any of these claims, most noticeably the watcher, tracker, oracle, and role cop. These roles should be assumed to be in the game at all times if we are town and we desperately needed to protect them from exposure. But over time, foolish people did foolish things and we lost 2/4 confirmed.
2. See above somewhat, but also I have been operating under these principles and examining people based on their actions. I scum people for how they are behaving wholeheartedly and none of my votes have been for frivolous reasons such as ‘I don’t like how this works’. I have been open and authentic because I have nothing to hide. I have been scum only twice, the first time in a noob game with no one able to know me, and the second one a huge failure because I came off incredibly wolfy because I operated as if I knew more than I should because I did.

I don’t like that post by darg. Seems careful

As far as the diversity of speakers go, it’s been dead. This whole day has been like half the remaining folks spitting lines and everyone else in the shadows.
Re: Mafia 47 - The Sixth Mass Extinction - GAME THREAD [HIDDEN]
Which makes it annoying that I have to go to the airport lmao
Re: Mafia 47 - The Sixth Mass Extinction - GAME THREAD [HIDDEN]
Yep. I may beat BB on total post of the game at this rate.

Have fun flying. My return trip home is tomorrow.

@xorxes
I think I understand the argument now.
Vapor claims they crumbed tracker and were roleblocked. You had written in another post that it was least likely that Vapor was actually the tracker in this scenario, which made no sense to me. Vapor DID crumb and scum could've decided to block him or her.
Is your point that town!tracker!Vapor should never REVEAL they were roleblocked, because it confirms the RB had impact? And the tracker doing this makes it more likely they will be NK'd/blocked again? And you think town!Vapor knows this but scum!Vapor might make a gambit of it to fake clear?

I do not know if xorxes is online, but I suggest looking at this previous post from him for answers to your questions:foodcoats wrote: ↑Wed Jul 24, 2019 5:25 pm@xorxes

xorxes wrote: ↑Tue Jul 23, 2019 10:07 pmIf you're town, you did the right thing by claiming the roleblock, even if it gets you lynched. It's information that town needs to know.Vaporwave wrote: ↑Tue Jul 23, 2019 9:48 pmBeen handling the pressure quite nicely, thank you.
Also, people refuse to think this owl ability through. What if they really have it? Then I'm almost confirmed town
Nobody takes this route of thinking. Also nobody stops for a second to ponder that there was no need for me to become more 'townish' I was fine before claiming this info, a scum rationale would be to be more clear, very few had votes on me prior to this day
Moreover, I got most votes as people were hopping on this 'fakeclaim' thing
Do you understand why the roleblock looks so suspect? Because you don't seem to.
There is only one role that scum would have wanted to roleblock N2, and that's the tracker. The only explanations for the roleblock are:
(1) scum think you're the tracker
(2) you are scum
(3) scum were trying to frame you
(1) is highly unlikely, because nobody took what you said about visiting flash seriously. If you were the real Tracker, the last thing you would want to do is announce that you were going to visit someone. You yourself explained that it was a joke as soon as you said it.
If scum were really worried about a Tracker, they would have roleblocked damo. So it looks like they weren't worried about a Tracker, for whatever reason, maybe the tracker is in their fakelist, or maybe they don't have a roleblocker.
(2) seems the most likely. If you don't at least acknowledge that and work from there, I don't think you can convince anyone.
(3) is a possibility, but I think it's a stretch, because sending their roleblocker on a wild goose chase has two risks: they could be tracked, or they could hit the absorber and give them roleblocking ability.
The fourth possibility is that scum are idiots, but I know you don't believe that.

Re: Mafia 47 - The Sixth Mass Extinction - GAME THREAD [HIDDEN]
I do scumread Vapor, but the people on his wagon are, besides worcej, not town reads of mine in general, which makes me very hesitant to join that wagon. Either I'm way off, or they're bussing hard, or Vapor isn't scum after all.
I townread worcej, so that wagon is also not one I'm crazy for, but 2/3 of the town clears are voting for him.
I may end up following Tom Brainbombadil and xorxes over to Dargo.

Why do you scumread Vapor? If you scumread them and the scum team is bussing, shouldn't you still vote for Vapor?Chaqa wrote: ↑Wed Jul 24, 2019 6:18 pmI do scumread Vapor, but the people on his wagon are, besides worcej, not town reads of mine in general, which makes me very hesitant to join that wagon.
