Mother's side. No, unfortunately I do not know the last *wAcKy* three numbers on her credit card.

My other half is Iranian if y'all are curious
Do you speak Japanese or Farsi?
Japanese: about 100-200 words maybe? I haven't like tested it but it seems correct; when I talk in Japanese I always stumble and my sentences are always a grammatical mess, but I can get my point across fairly consistently.

That's speaking though. My Kanji knowledge is pretty much abysmal.

Farsi: I could probably count the number of Farsi words I know on my fingers and toes lol.

I know a lot more French than I know either Japanese or Farsi.

I really didn't want to dispel the magic for BunnyGo, but in order to clear this up: I had ChatGPT write a python script that scanned the past games on the bot to identify which ones Balki and I had been in together. It was the work of minutes, including having to pivot to searching the txt pages rather than the HTML pages due to the program running into SSL issues at first. From there, it was a simple matter of copying in the bot search URL that looks for Balki* talking about Fox*, updating the game number, and then finding the quotes that made my point.

Here's my theory: Damo is scum. Foodcoats slipped up an crossposted his "WOOO" to the wrong thread and then tried to play it off. Foodcoats is now bussing Damo to further cover his tracks.
Hm, actually food pushed Damo D1 pretty heavily and pushed him into a tie with Ham near EOD.

Still, I think the best explanation for his "WOOO" post is that it was meant for the scum thread. It still makes sense if you consider that Food was playing a highwire act bussing Damo, so he'd be thrilled that his risk paid off.
In all seriousness how can you possibly think I’d confuse Discord and the Wed Dip Potato?

@Squiggs: On D1 I thought Damo was being surly in a way that was going to attract attention, a thing scum don't want to do, so based on that I concluded he wasn't scum.

The foodcoats made his "WOOO" post, and the only way that makes sense to me is if he was celebrating a scum victory in a TvS EOD, ergo, Damo is scum.

Also, while I thought Damo was being too blatant about it to be scum, surly Damo has been scum-Damo in the past.
or was also joke?

I have a new reads list

I keep going back and forth on damo's alignment though. I feel like I'm missing something.

I'm not very caught up but let me start here:

Iso Damo's posts from D1.

You will see him endvoting Hamilton quite early on, and repeatedly pushing him without providing any real reasons.

He was screaming "Hamilton is obvscum!!!!" in repeated posts, yet when questioned, would not elaborate.

He was a big driver of the Hamilton wagon.

Damo is obvscum!!!!
In all seriousness, Jamie, how would you describe damo’s scum game? If you were describing it prior to the start of this game? How would you contrast it to his town game?
Town Damo is usually a very low-impact poster D1, who tends to ramp up the quality and quantity of his posts through D2 and D3. He gets involved a bit if asked questions but often doesn't stand out. He has a habit of naked voting (by which I mean, voting without explanation), but will usually explain his reasoning when asked. In the past I have sometimes clashed with Town Damo early in games because I have been critical of his lack of action, or I have been annoyed by naked votes.

Once he has data available to him, Town Damo starts to go into computational analysis mode and starts spitting out pairs and percentages and theories; sometimes right, sometimes wrong, but usually interesting.

Damo traditionally does not like rolling scum. Scum Damo deals with this anxiety by being a bit more jokey and can also be a bit more abrasive. Scum Damo, I think, sometimes comes across as quite inorganic and can struggle to articulate the reasons for his reads or votes. However, Scum Damo does not panic when under pressure; he does not flap or flail.
Agreed.

It was not targeted at you damo.

It was my way of expressing that HB is major LHF in this meta right now and people just uncritically scum read him and I think they are all doo doo heads.
That's true. My first thought was "damn. Poor Hamilton"

(3) Makes a long post about the various reasons mafia might have killed Kak without really saying anything at all.
Here's the post if y'all wanna review it:

1: mafis killed kak because he was on point too much
I don't think this is probable. *snip*
2: mafia killed him as a distraction
This seems likely. *snip*
3; mafia needed a distraction
Good chance of this, *snip*
I wonder who the mafia would've killed instead of Kak though?
4; any mix of the above, with the feelibg that noone was really suspicious of kak?
I think 1 and 2 are mutually incompatible .
5. shot at a PR
Maybe, but kak wouldn't have been high on my "likely PR role" list
I feel like I did state a pretty clear position. Admittedly, my position gets lost when you add in the parts I snipped back in. That's an error on my part & Balki's criticisms of me, considering this fact, is fair.

Then again, even if I didn't state a clear enough position, I still believe my comments were insightful and helped the town.

I guess the main issue is that I'm a poor solver when it comes to social deduction games. I don't like leaps of faith and much prefer to back my opinions on solid evidence rather than conjecture. Obviously, that's a HUGE weakness of mine (at least when it comes to a mafia game thread).

When it comes to mafia I'm good at the first few steps where you go "hmm, Idk if what this person is saying checks out... lemme investigate." I'm less good at the later steps where you go "okay, who are this person's partners?"

I'm going to assume some idiot towny just vigged damo.

I'm super glad he played it right! I thought he was a PR, but he was too obvious about it, he was thinking one level above me, a VT roleplaying as a PR roleplaying as a VT/scum.

Well done damo, it's too bad it was all in vain.
What?!

Will you walk me slowly through THIS thought process?

I guess the good thing about this is that whoever shot is Townclear. No way Mafia makes that shot.

Might as well claim the kill, I think, assuming no powers left.
Ok, I'm starting to see (I think) why you thought the vig should claim.

I'm going to take just a moment to make it clear PRs should not reveal unless they have a very good reason:
Case 1: PRs are scum
There are currently 24 living players: 14 VT, 5 town PRs, 3 scum PRs, 2 goons. 8 are PRs, 16 are not.
3/8 PRs are scum, so a PR has a 3/8 chance to be scum.
2/16 non-PRs are scum, so a non-PR has a 1/8 chance to be scum.
5/24 players are scum, so someone who hasn't been specified as either PR or not PR has a 5/24, or roughly 1/5, chance to be scum.
Therefore, anyone who claims PR is more likely to be scum than someone who doesn't. Therefore, town PRs should not claim PR.
Case 2: We need our PRs
This setup is, unfortunately, very swingy. There are roles like Arcane Trickster, Bardic Inspiration, and Wild Magic that are very weak as town and very strong as scum, roles like Light Cleric/Enchantment (alignment cop) and Unarmored Defense Barbarian hat are good for town but weak as scum. This setup has a potential to get very out of hand if mafia have strong PRs. Don't reveal just to make a point.
Case 3: The Tadpole Problem
For those of you who didn't read the setup, the mafia can once per game instead of nightkilling during the night give a town player a tadpole. That player will then have to choose whether to accept and become mafia (keeping any PR abilities they might have) or deny the recruitment. Mafia must use this ability during one of the first 4 nights.
Mafia will probably want to recruit a PR who is at least mostly towncleared. Revealing PR might seem like a great oppurtunity to get recruited. However, having revealed you are a PR, town will know you are a PR and therefore a potential recruitment target. Daykilling you would be pointless because we couldn't be certain you had been recruited. As a result, you might simply be ignored for the rest of the game.
Let this be a cautionary tale. Do not reveal PR unless you have a VERY GOOD reason.
See sweet...THIS is a thought process.

Note to the Demon: more white space.

Ok Ill grant you that its a mafia chip in their hat, who were the people that asked, a bunch of people are rereading EOD, I'd like to know the answer to this question; it might correlate with other things...I still dont think its a bad question to ask and so if thats the entire case against someone Im dismissing it out of hand, they need a lot of other stuff PLUS THIS to say their mafia
Maybe if someone spent their entire time asking for whats the case and not actually making a case or deciding then that is definetly indicative of mafia, no one is THAT indecivisve if they are trying to solve the game

I know you’re asking Jamie but I should contribute to this because I agree with Jamie that Damo is obvscum.

Damo’s tonal range is very flat as town. He is “unflappable.” He is more “extremified” when scum. In the past I have IDd him based on jokes, and also illogicalities that he would not make as town, because as town he is exceedingly objective.

Here we have seen him act obtuse and not explain his actions, where typical town damo is incredibly straightforward and direct.
Foochcoats obv town even if he has some hot takes
