We all would behave equally as if VTs since we have no idea at present what any of our powers do.

so behaviorally were just VTs with generic unknown night actions - none of which are known and no one should feel their role is superior or inferior in that world

If I go through the night and survive and get a receipt for my night action saying “Mafia” for example - I might have to wait a while to figure out if I am an actual scanning role or if some shit went down, or if im the role returning the everyone comes back as mafia result.

i may then at that point think I should try to stay alive and keep getting results

but at present id just be guessing

Kak also seems pretty normal to me. I'm not sure I like Jamie's vote on Kak being "serious", but it doesn't feel unusual from Jamie.

Hmm, I was a bit sus on Jamie for not calling out foods vote without comment (although this early he could've just considered it jokevote and ignored it) so I wanted to gain more reactions from Jamie. It's subtle and probably low-key, but I have a very faint suspicion on Jamie voting here to mask foods vote, which only make sense if both are on the same mafia team.

Probably just an illusion, but I wanted to put it in the thread just in case. Sometimes (very rarely) I pick up early on the stupidest things that connect mafia and it's something to have a look back on if either of them flip mafia in the future.

But yeah, not too unusual, but I don't get the full same early Jamie vibe as last game. Could be just that I'm trying to change my sleep pattern due to next weeks time schedule and it's messing with my brain though.

I kinda like what bunny is doing here, but he is also very much the kind of player to come up with a D1 gimmick and stick to it, so I don't think it's super towny. But hey, I'll take more +1s.

I mean, he did that once when he was mafia, if I remember correctly? So I would just handle it as a NAI thing from him. It makes me averse to voting him D1, at least, baring any big maf vibes happening.

hmm, I kinda get what you're saying there, I think though that's a bit too generous. I think a maf-Bunny could do that to make us think he wouldn't repeat it as mafia. I want to see more of him. I think it's good enough to let him do this shtick on D1, but after that, we should be a bit more inquisitory here.

I can't tell if you're asking me about my scum range or how experienced I am with the game in general. My scum range isn't impressive, I don't like lying to people, I'm good at cop hunting though. I played live chat mafia a lot, maybe like a thousand hours or so, way too much and mostly in high school. I've played a bunch of forum mafia games too but not to the same magnitude as live chat.

I feel like I have played with players similar to you before and I think you are +town here. I don't expect you to say anything really telling in response to being questioned. I'm a little curious though about who you have experience with in the player list and if you have any solid meta reads other than lfishl.

I wish I had a good scum read but I haven't locked onto anyone yet.

Aside from new players, I haven't played with BK3K, heartthrob, will or sweet before.

I feel like Jamie and Kak are both acting pretty normal for them so far. Nephthys "picking a fight" with fisch so early seems pretty standard for him. Brain and Bunny are also normal but not in a way that I think makes them more likely to be town. I've got nothing from worcej. (Yes I'd already said most of that).

reading worcej is easy! Just follow the golden rule which is always 100% true: if one of the first two nk's are PRs, he is mafia!

And I also have personal reasons for why it would be really fun if sweet-kak and myself are all town but really I just enjoy them immensely as competitors and have been mafia with both of them in recent games so it would be super fun if both were townies and we could collab and win as a squad

a bit aware that this might be a buddying attempt, but honestly, I thought the same of hoping being on the same team. Also town can also buddy so I really shouldn't read anything wild into this, especially since if brain is mafia, he most often gets caught anyway after a bit. And usually at that point I still tend to townread brain anyway
