Where does it say that?

You are the Infector! During the day, you participate in the lynch process. You hold allegiance to neither town nor mafia. Each night, you may choose a player to infect. At the end of each night, you will receive a message stating which player(s) have been infected. Any player targeting or being targeted by an infected player will be infected. The Doctor is immune to being infected, and if the Doctor visits a player, or a Doctor’s kit is used on a player, they will be cured of infection and become immune. You are not informed when players are cured. You win if, at the end of the game, all players are infected. If all players become infected while you are still alive, you immediately win the game. You are not considered hostile to town.
