True, I read Mask and Swag Bag's description and saw it doesn't say theft happens at EoN. I thought it was immediately. But look here:
ORDER OF NIGHT ACTIONS:

1. Car
2. All roleblocking actions
3. Love Heart choice
4. Mask theft
5. Detective Kit / Birthday Card Visit / Power Pill
6. All killing actions
7. All saving actions
8. Repair Kit

If mask theft is written here this means they can't steal the cop kit before BB claimed. I thought scum thief stole the detective kit and Bb claimed knowing this but this is obviously impossible.

yes you're right. like i said, this is a real gambit i'm proposing where he subtly crumbed cop and hard-claimed cop 1 minute before EOD so no one could counterclaim him before D1 started.

Vecna - why would scum Vecna claim armour after rdr claim that armour stuck to him post RB when he could so easily have claimed the vacant thief spot? SEMI CLEAR

rdrivera - on Squigs from early doors, could've been cc'd on sticky, happy to be lynched - CLEAR

So, if rdrivera clear I assume he is telling the truth so one of the remaining scumpair has armour. Who could that be?

Before going into that a brief diversion to dead peopl's items.

We must assume TB had power pill so we can forget that.

Dead mafia must have Foam Hammer or lying scum's claim and Armour or lying scum's claim.

Repair kit unused so presumably with bozo or Chaqa.
Slime grenade not used to rescue Squiggs so probably with deadtown.
Remaining deadtown must be thief or electroshield (and Yav is lying).

Now, back to who might be scum with armour that RB'd rdrivera:-

Obviously could be Vecna but given him a semi clear.
Can't be Durga (cannon).
Almost impossible for ghug, how could he sfely claim stolen head (consider dead folk items).
Can be ND knowing deadscum had car.
Can be Yav who gambled Electro was dead.

So possible scum armour bearers are ND , Yav or maybe Vecna.

Now let's consider each in turn with their possible scum partners and what implication this has on items (not exhaustively though):

ND armour (deadscum car&Foam Hammer) with Yav (thief) [Electro dead] or ghug (head) or Durga (cannon) or Vecna (armour)

Yav armour (deadscum Foam Hammer and thief) [Electro dead] with ND car or ghug (head) or Durga (cannon) or Vecna (armour)

Vecna armour (deadscum Foam Hammer and Thief) with ghug (head) or Durga (cannon).

To summarise the possibilities are:

ND Yav
ND ghug
ND Durga
ND Vecna

If ND is scum they started with Foam Hammer (useless) and car (useless) maybe why ND so frustrated and called his item useless?

Having given Vecna a semi clear it boils down to ND or Yav to vote for.

ND implies a weak itemed scumteam but Yav is demonRHK's sweetheart.

I think y2k is still probably scum because for one he has no townreads. He isnt talking about major wagons- hes not analyzing. Hes really just repeating himself for 100 pages that im scum. Its asinine and yea theres absolutely a-way or two hes scum. But if we just gave the item mechanic talk a rest and evaluated play- association to squiggs and moscow we would see the game the natural way.

The items mean nothing since scum couldve roleswapped and guessed at dead items.

Theres a hypothetical where ghugs town and his head wasnt stolen
But moscow stole a med kit
And y2k repaired it for example
