Fun fact about statistics; every possibility is equally as likely as the next , throwing 3 fours in a row is equally as likely as throwing a 4, 2 and 6sweetandcool wrote: ↑Tue Jul 09, 2024 12:05 amIs this your roundabout way of telling us you are fake claiming?bozotheclown wrote: ↑Mon Jul 08, 2024 11:31 pmWhat are the odds of 3 town guns activating D2, 4.6875%?sweetandcool wrote: ↑Mon Jul 08, 2024 11:11 pm
Why wouldn't I?
Any number of gunmen can be activated any day.
Three shots occurred, I suppose a fourth activation is unlikely, but certainly possible.
I guess I didn't think how unlikely it is, from a probability standpoint.
If so, thank you for the good reaction test.

Re: M 90: Shootout at the Pretty Good Corral
Are you saying one of you has to be a mafia (and therefore NOT on the same team? Since you believe Jamie is not mafia wouldnt that mean you are?sweetandcool wrote: ↑Tue Jul 09, 2024 12:07 amYes, but also no. I am confident that Hamiet would be viscerally furious. In fact, if I was his teammate he could have authentically unloaded on me. He hates fake claiming and inconsistency and that beginning of day claim drove him insane and he would have gone bonkers is we were teammates.bozotheclown wrote: ↑Mon Jul 08, 2024 11:33 pmIf Jamie is mafia, his reaction in his posts was what he wants us to think his reaction was, not necessarily what it was.sweetandcool wrote: ↑Mon Jul 08, 2024 11:10 pm
Bozo, stop for just one moment.
Suppose Jamiet and sweetandcool are scum.
Then, without any planning ahead, sweetandcool surprises Jamiet with a fake claim D1.
Jamiet's first post indicates the shock you would expect from him as either alignment: "Uh, what. Why would you claim at this point?"
QUESTION: Would you expect Jamiet to be angry?
Then, he calls bullshit and votes sweetandcool. This could be interpreted as him being mad at his teammate, but IMO it is not Jamiet angry. This guy has called new players little shits for jokingly voting him, so I would expect more here.
Bunny and worcej start "chainsawing" Jamiet, but he's still outwardly cool about it. Possibly he is secretly furious, who knows.
After Balki asks Jamiet to elaborate on his comment about chainsawing. THIS is what pissed him off.
Please continue reading. Jamiet does eventually get upset with me, but it is very noticeable that what makes him upset enough to sub is the wagon forming on him, NOT his teammate sweetandcool fake claiming.
CONCLUSION: Do you find this story compelling, Bozo? Because I do not. It does not make sense if sweetandcool is his teammate. It makes some sense of Balki is his teammate, but I don't even buy that.
Jamiet is TOWN.
We are absolutely not teammates.
I think he is Town.
But it's obviously not definitive.
But it is definitive that we are not teammates. And basing your theories on that assumption is incorrect and leads to a loss for Town.

Flav's style this game is if Will, Bozo, and Jamiet had an unholy baby.
Normally he's more like a combination of Bozo and Jamiet.

Its a good way to play because you interract with the entire game, but you have to be active in order to do itsweetandcool wrote: ↑Tue Jul 09, 2024 10:41 pmFlav's style this game is if Will, Bozo, and Jamiet had an unholy baby.

Coming into today King was under intense, probably irrecoverable pressure. Makes sense to me to holster the RB and claim it.
At the very least, it saves him for a day or two, which should be enough for the win.

RoleBlock: The Scum team has one factional role block, assigned at night by majority vote of the scum team. No individual performs the RoleBlock. The ONLY town character effected by the RoleBlock is the Investigative Sherrif.FlaviusAetius wrote: ↑Tue Jul 09, 2024 11:14 pm##call GM can the RB prevent someone from getting a gun? Bozo has no more or less authority over the day than before the claim, we still need to vote for someone and that person wont be who he shoots / doesnt shoot; the only person it affects is himselfsweetandcool wrote: ↑Tue Jul 09, 2024 12:42 amI am forced to not believe it.bozotheclown wrote: ↑Tue Jul 09, 2024 12:38 amI thought you believed my claim?sweetandcool wrote: ↑Tue Jul 09, 2024 12:36 am
Ah, so y'all did come up with a likely winning plan. I was hoping Mafia wouldn't be clever enough to make this play.
##VOTE Bozo
It is much too convenient for you to be possibly suggesting three Town players as your final solve, while wielding authority over the day by merit of your lawman claim.
We either lose, or you are lying. Consequently I must believe you are faking and probably scum.
Final solve: Flav, King, Bozo.

Re: M 90: Shootout at the Pretty Good Corral
D3 is the perfect day to kill a lurker, D1 its too early to say who is a lurker and who is not, D2 we are using D1 and N1 to solve D2, D3 is when its time to kill a lurker . If we dont then the game becomes a ghost town and we have zero chance of victorysweetandcool wrote: ↑Tue Jul 09, 2024 12:57 amFor future reference, while I understand the desire to not policy vote D1, this is why lurkers get away with it every damn game. D1 is too soon to vote them and D2 we are too busy trying not to lose.
Absolutely infuriating. I'm not allowed to violate meta with fake claims, but lurking is just dandy.
No, it's shameful and it's the most joyless way to win.

I lost my page but I had to respond to this, I agree what king has done D3 has not been great, but we have literally two other days to go off of how can we vote him off of one commentBunnyGo wrote: ↑Tue Jul 09, 2024 11:58 amI like Flavius’ energy and posts. By the way, he is one I can vote today other then the three I nominated.
And why Flavius is town?
I got a guilty scan on king.
Ok,..in seriousness, it was a gag that turned into a reaction test that got to the point where him voting himself sells me on being scum.
