Re: MAFIA 63: THE SCOURGE
On reread I think I just misunderstood which post you were describing as sarcastic. I initially thought you were saying that your earlier post that said "This post is fascinating" was sarcastic, but now I'm realizing that the sarcasm refers to Eden's post not yours.
For the record, I think Eden's page one post was obviously sarcastic. I think bunny's response to it was rather unremarkable. Not sure why you find it fascinating. I find bunny's follow up responses a little weird, but I think that's more of a difference in how we write rather than alignment indicative.
Re: MAFIA 63: THE SCOURGE
What info do you suggest I go off that isn't "feels" at this point in the game? No one has flipped or even made a vote that can't easily be shrugged off as a joke.Hamilton Brian wrote: ↑Thu Dec 31, 2020 3:33 amSeems way too early to go into the "feels." However, if you're leaning that way, worth pursuing. Just a lot of "light" happening. Didn't the last game start just before American Thanksgiving and then through it? Lots of drunk posting.
Great, we have to content with NYE posting tomorrow. Get yer drink on!

Re: MAFIA 63: THE SCOURGE
My 2nd rule this game is from now on when I catch up I’m only reading the last four pages. I figure that if there was anything important in the pages I don’t read then someone will quote it and then someone else will requote it. Thanks in advance to all those readers and quoters, you’re helping a lazy man be lazy.

Maniac buddy is there some point to you announcing these rules in advance instead of just following them?

I see...
Not a fan of a man pointing out their own laziness, I get from a reading and time perspective somewhat, but also want to know why you are announcing the rules when you could have kept that to yourself?

Do you think PE was being serious in that post?BunnyGo wrote: ↑Thu Dec 31, 2020 1:46 amSo, last game I was scum and feared that you'd accidentally slipped and singled out bo. But then I went back and saw that in at least one recent game he'd been the example given for all the votes. So I didn't bring it up (unlike the pressure I put on Chaqa and Jimbo for things I thought I saw).President Eden wrote: ↑Thu Dec 31, 2020 1:00 amLast game:

There are two types of voting within this game: collective voting to execute perceived Mafia in Day phases, and Mafia faction actions.
Daykill vote: The first type of voting is for all players during the day, in which you vote for whom you intend to kill. Notate this vote with a pair of hash symbols before your intended vote target (e.g., ##VOTE bo_sox48).
You do not need to spell out your intended target's username fully; as long as the GM can understand who you're referencing. However, if there is a player that the bot does not quite understand without being spelled out in full, it would be helpful for everyone if you could spell their name out in full when voting for them. If in doubt, spell it out!
In the event of a tie during a Daykill vote, no one shall be killed.dargorygel wrote: ↑Thu Nov 26, 2020 1:38 pm##GM NOTE
On this 'Murican Thanksgiving... we have a replacement.

“Day Kill” vote: The first level of voting is for whom you intend to kill. Notate this vote with a pair of hash symbols before your intended vote target. If you disagree with me you're not only wrong, you are also defying the wisdom of Tom, the god of this game. I'd hate to be you!
But this seems a stretch to me. Tom isn't known for slips like this. And unlike last time when bo was used in every example, he used Zultar later. I'd be very careful using this argument. And I think you would be careful too.

I think most players, scum or town, only end on a single vote wagon when they are not online at EOD, or they are emc.

Scum are more likely to pretend not to be around EoD.bozotheclown wrote: ↑Thu Dec 31, 2020 8:51 amI think most players, scum or town, only end on a single vote wagon when they are not online at EOD, or they are emc.
Scum are also more likely to make a point out of something like that so they can act right later, but people don't do it quite that blatantly anymore.
