Can you explain to me how he's behaving like he always does as scum? You mean he's contradictory as scum and he's contradictory now?
He's hiding behind process discussions and more inclined to scumread than townread. The biggest thing he did last game to appear townie was acting hungry for information and to figure things out, which he's doing here too, and I think he would probably do as town, but I've wised up to that actually being indicative now.
Frankly this is a little confusing to follow. He's scum because he's acting townie and he does that as scum but also he'd do it as town? I'm not exactly convinced
No, he's scum for acting scummy and he's known to effectively fake the one way in which he does act townie.

The bigger thing is the very inconsistent way he responded to my vote on him.

Also, you're content policy killing Brian with only two miskills, but that's the argument you use to defend yourself.

Goldie's behaving like he always does as scum, and his reaction to my vote from him comes from a place of fear. All aboard please. Choo choo.

It's too early to townread very hard. And frankly not many besides rdrivera and Moscow have shown me much to consider towny.

@Durga - What info exactly would we get from a bozo kill? Bozo can be quite an asset if town, and kinda slips into lurking if not. Damo was definitely more involved D1 of last game, imo. But I don't know if that's AI or not

I mean, yes, but by that measure most of the rest of us would be equally good targets. Why bozo?

I doubt we're gonna flip Goldie today, and I'm still not convinced - he seems pretty passionate this game, was he like that in the last one? Also who's your second choice?

Yeah, that's the part I think he's proven he can fake.

I don't see why we can't get him today, we haven't coalesced on anyone else either.

You don't find his reaction to my vote odd?

The only thing you've called him out for being scummy on is his reaction test.

He definitely was; very involved, arguing, talking mechanics. I think he was way more involved in the last game. I'm still calling it a town read.

My rationale on Yoyoyozo:
I’ve played this game a million times in my head. I know what everyone is going to say before they even say it.
...page 3. Hyperbole, sure, but coming in cocksure.

Pages 3 and 4 are light conversation, some low-grade insults.
If you guys are real people, I expect better.
Is that pushing us to be better town, or taunting us?

Page 12 offers their reads; busting on RDR, Bozo, Damos. Scum-reading Durga.

Avoided my question about the timing of their "read" post based on the comment by RDR. Instead became an explanation about why mafia would keep them around. ?

Final post, asserts a vote on Damos and shrugs it off as no confidence in any of the previous reads.

It's my starting point.

After last game I don't trust much your reads Ghug.

I need to vote and in fact Yoyo and Bozo are good wagons. Durga would be a good one too and Ghug is dropping on my townreads. Back to null will Damo. Gold, HB and Moscow on the town side.

##vote Bozo
Can you explain why I am a good wagon?
Yes. In the last games you were town, you was obviously town, including last one that get you a N1 kill. In this game, I don't feel it, you seems reactive and the color thing seems a thing to fill an empty space.
And yoyo was already on the lead and I like ties.

No. His questions and pushes aren't good or genuine and the HB thing feels like an easy way to scum read someone when he knows HB has done this before.

This is not untrue. As Durga and Jamie were hammering away at me, Bozo would lob some fastballs my way. It felt like needlessly pecking the runt chick, but made for easy cover for them.

Because I agreed with it?

I don't really want to kill Moscow, Rd, or yoyo. I'd be fine offing pretty much anyone else, but I also don't really want to be the one deciding if I'm indifferent.

Did you just quote yourself immediately after posting that and say nothing? I spit out my coffee because while I’m reading the posts I like to pretend to be the person posting and I’ll reading it two ways, once as town and once as scum. And I imagined scum gold quaking under pressure and doing weird ditsy shit like that.

More likely than not just a simple mistake but I still found it funny. That being said I’m gonna ##vote damos because he’s been useless all game and I don’t have like any confidence in my reads so far, and would rather not let it get to lylo with a useless town. As scummy as I think some people are being, I think mafia will narrow down the talkers for us we don’t need to make that call so early, which I think was towns mistake last game. Right now we should be setting up for a smooth end game and people like bozo rd and damos even if they are town need to step it up.
I am here, I am stating my opinion (and so do Bozo). Why you insist on pushing this kind of policy lynch? Why you don't push your scum reads?
Because policy flipping lurkers gets them talking. I’ll push my scum reads when it makes sense to do so. Right now I want to make it abundantly clear that lurking is worse than acting a little shady on D1. No free lunches on my watch.

Another point: killing a talker on D1 risky. It’s detrimental if they flip town, especially since this is a smaller game. Secondly, it’s what happened last game, the last thing town needs is for the remaining talkers to all be scum and a bunch of lurker shady townies that do nothing and contribute nothing. When the mafia flips a leading town tonight it’ll narrow things down for us tomorrow. It’s like that one brain teaser where behind 3 doors there is either nothing, or is a new car behind one door.

you choose a door and then one of the doors with nothing behind is opened. Mathematically speaking you should always switch doors if given the opportunity because your chances go from 1 in 3 to 1 in 2 if you do.

While I find Durga kinda scummy I don’t think the risk of flipping her D1 outweighs my confidence (or lack thereof) in fact there might not even be scum among the group of talkers. Right now the lurkers seem the scummiest. Coming out of the woodwork to “stating my opinion” only when several people begin to support the idea of a lurker policy vote. ##vote rdr
