Reading the last few pages, can confirm I was roleblocked - so what Vecna is implying is accurate (and I understand the rationale of the votes).

Vecna, was there a specific reason you decided to block WorTom N2? No mention of them during N2. Approached them over D2 with considering a possibility of 1 or 2 mafia among kak/worcej and someone else. You had some suspicion it seemed.

Okay, one shower and some copium later, (still very mad, but perhaps no longer boiling)

Let's put it in dip perspective. You're I-T, happily beating the shit out of Austria. It takes a while, and you look up and the Western trio's wrecking face. Russia's dying horribly, and France is on your coast. Oh no! You quickly make tentative amends with Austria, who's also dying horribly, and start resisting. Suddenly, oh no! England stabs Germany and France, starts taking everything. They're on 13 centers with huge momentum, and it will take everyone's cooperation to stop the solo attempt. You reach out to France, all good, they'll work with you to survive. You reach out to Germany. What do they say? "I'd rather lose to England tbh I'm going to keep pushing my front"

England is carefully stopped in Iberia but takes over all of the German centers and Russia to win the game. What could you have done better?

Nothing. Just an illustration that you will all recognize (and surely suffered before) of what a bad faith actor can do in a game that relies on good faith.

Mafia is similar. The game is nearing its end. You voted out an imposter and 3P, through hard work and lots of screaming and crying you finally got it down to the final 5. You've got 3 town, 2 imposters. It's damo, rdrivera and Macca, with whomever the rest is. damo and rdrivera are vibing, they're like well obviously, rdrivera was the uncontested cop claim and damo had all those things like the Kaka vote, the roleblock, and all the other good shit that happened in the next 4 days. They say to each other, "it's probably not Macca they did some dumb shit but almost certainly town" and vote together for the win. Macca says "I don't believe in cop claims #vote rdrivera ##end" and the game ends.

Need I go on? This will happen. This is not hyperbole.

Anyway, I think that's enough of that. I would like you to consider all that I have done this game, all that I have done in previous games; consider whether I ever played this game in bad faith, or led town astray in any appreciable manner. I am not telling you Macca needs to go because I'm angry (though I am that). I am telling you, in complete earnesty, this is the best move town can make right now.

If you want to take the best next step on this extremely unfortunate path we've been forced upon, wait until near the end of day, and vote Macca out after they item claim.

I have made this mistake before. ghug pointed it out after the end of last game, something like "you had the responsibility of making sure everyone understood what you were saying. Your reaction to the claim was just acting like it was [] obvious, which it was to the experienced players, but not everyone."

The parallel is clearly visible here. If anyone has any questions on how voting out a town can be game winning, I am willing to engage. This needs to happen, for the game to proceed. It is obvious, but perhaps not to you, and I am happy to field any questions and conversations necessary to show this to you.
