Dear Anyone who ever plays on MU,

If you ever play in a mash, and an ITA session comes up, you will notice just how annoying it truly is to have the quote feature enabled. Someone will die, and flip some alignment, and at least 40 - 50 times that one flip will get re-quoted within seconds of someone else doing it. I actually wrote makaze asking for it to cap after a post has been quoted more than a few times and the request was rejected. It made ITA sessions ridiculous to try to focus. people would be shooting, while dozens of people are reacting to deaths and flips, flooding the pages with the same thing over and over. all just to have their reaction shown.

I hate it. HATE IT
What is an "ITA session" ?

Dear Jamie,

On Mafiauniverse there are games called Mashes. and these are enormus games with sometimes over 100 players. They are meant to be very large. And usually they are wild role madness games with lots of powers.

The defining feature of every mash is an In Thread Attack session where players get to shoot at another player with a % chance of killing that player. its a free for all shootout.

I used the Vote Doubling power on pyxxy.

I trust brain 100%. But I think he is widely townread at this point and a good nightkill, so the fact that he invited me to use the power on him may have incentivized mafia to shoot him. Plus, although unlikely, there’s a chance the mafia didn’t read this afternoon and still believes he is the actual Quartermaster.

I think pyxxy is also lock town, but he hasn’t been discussed as someone who should be targeted for anything, so I’m hoping he survives tonight and can report back.

Nothing personal brain, I did initially target you, but I think you’ve done well enough to earn an n1 kill and I don’t want to waste my verification this way.

Decent chance I just get jailed anyway lol. But here goes!

Dear SweetandCool,

the old forum we didnt have peterbot, and there was no ISO tool. We had to guess what page something was on and search the thread for specific posts. all cases were copy pastes because there also was no quote buttons either.

We played without any technology for many years, and quite a few of those players are still here
For a significant portion of my first game, I did not use peterbot. I am old enough to know what pre-tech was like. The difficulty, I am sure, cut down on D1 nonsense.
It did not.

The city of Etseirt sat at the tip of the Adriatic Peninsula, one of the main regions of the Dip Republik, which holds sovereign many of the lands bordering the Spaghetti Sea and the many small inlets of the Hellene Bay.

Jimothy spent the night in port trying to get some well-due sleep. Morning would bring bad tidings.

He found the Captain had left a note with the next destination - Ecinev. Jimothy frowned - it was a pretty short trip, only a day. Odd. Captains usually planned stops every two days, from what Vick the Viking had said.

DAY 2 HAS BEEN SHORTENED.

As the crew roused itself and began the morning's work, Jimothy filled everyone in on the plans for the day. As the ship set out, everyone had a vague sense something was amiss, but no one realized exactly what until the Captain yelled out from the starboard side of the boat.

Several of the crew ran to see what the Captain was yelling at. They all saw it together. Albatross Eyes Abernathy threw up off the side of the boat, and Stilts walked away shaking his head.

Hanging off the side of the boat, the corpse of Mumblin Mumford.

PYXXY HAS DIED. He was Mumblin Mumford, a Pirate Crew!

Day 2 has begun. It will be 24 hours long.

Wow. Poor Pyxxy, RIP.

I guess they targeted someone they thought was unlikely to be saved.

For the record, I was not jailed or roleblocked or etc.

Eden getting owned is no coincidence. Someone on the Mafia team must be experienced.
