On ghug, I reread it and while I don't think it is a scumslip, ghug's reaction to it bugs me and he drops down to null.

I played mafio f2f with his dad many weekends for the better part of a decade.ghug wrote: ↑Mon Jan 04, 2021 6:12 amHow often do y'all see each other in person and do you play social deduction games when you do?aarodactyl wrote: ↑Mon Jan 04, 2021 5:48 amI want to caution people from trusting his opinion on me too much. We used to live near each other until I was nine and then I haven't seen him in person much since then. His impression of how'd I play is a lot of educated guessing. For instance, he got thrown a lot when I started shitposting last game. Considering he didn't keep up with the mafia game after he was daykilled, a lot of people in the game actually have more experience playing mafia with me than he does. Though in his defense, I'd probably put a lot of effort into the game as mafia, but I'm not sure I'd put quite that much effort in.President Eden wrote: ↑Mon Jan 04, 2021 5:42 am
You know him better than me, but that's the exact opposite of what I would expect from a generic player. I'd grant you that the fact that we put pressure on him to deliver reduces the extent to which it is AI, but I have a lot of trouble suspecting him more for that effort.
I haven't seen aarodactyl f2f in at least 3 years.
We've been playing among us most weeks for the past couple months.

God your family is so cool for that. I'm happy with our little Discord crew for sure, but if I could whip my family into playing Among Us that'd be the dream.BunnyGo wrote: ↑Mon Jan 04, 2021 6:22 amI played mafio f2f with his dad many weekends for the better part of a decade.ghug wrote: ↑Mon Jan 04, 2021 6:12 amHow often do y'all see each other in person and do you play social deduction games when you do?aarodactyl wrote: ↑Mon Jan 04, 2021 5:48 am

Thanks. That's dumb. I'd have to reread everything in context again, but I didn't get a scumslip impression.Donny Dude wrote: ↑Mon Jan 04, 2021 6:21 amJamiet page 121BunnyGo wrote: ↑Mon Jan 04, 2021 6:20 amSome accuse ghuggers of scum slipping?Donny Dude wrote: ↑Mon Jan 04, 2021 6:10 am

Re: MAFIA 63: THE SCOURGE [HIDDEN]
Yeah that's definitely legit.
I'm going to be really upset if I have to stop suspecting you after my temper tantrum last night.

(this is also a reason not to scumread me because you don't like what I'm doing)

I don’t know if we’ve played a social deduction game besides among us together and never in person. Our family is big on games but stuff like seven wonders not Avalon.ghug wrote: ↑Mon Jan 04, 2021 6:12 amHow often do y'all see each other in person and do you play social deduction games when you do?aarodactyl wrote: ↑Mon Jan 04, 2021 5:48 amI want to caution people from trusting his opinion on me too much. I played Seven Wonders once at Ezio's gigantic house.aarodactyl wrote: ↑Mon Jan 04, 2021 6:34 amI don’t know if we’ve played a social deduction game besides among us together and never in person. While we’re somewhat off topic, I’d be down for a f2f diplomacy game once covid is over.ghug wrote: ↑Mon Jan 04, 2021 6:37 amI played Seven Wonders once at Ezio's gigantic house.aarodactyl wrote: ↑Mon Jan 04, 2021 6:34 amI don’t know if we’ve played a social deduction game besides among us together and never in person. True. They know your sisters well.aarodactyl wrote: ↑Mon Jan 04, 2021 6:38 amI’d be surprised if your kids know who I am.
Re: MAFIA 63: THE SCOURGE [HIDDEN]
For sure! I played with Balki and cspieker and some FtF folks at the WAC once, and I've also got a group of friends I board game with who would probably consent to a Diplomacy game against their better judgement.aarodactyl wrote: ↑Mon Jan 04, 2021 6:39 amWhile we’re somewhat off topic, I’d be down for a f2f diplomacy game once covid is over.ghug wrote: ↑Mon Jan 04, 2021 6:37 amI played Seven Wonders once at Ezio's gigantic house.aarodactyl wrote: ↑Mon Jan 04, 2021 6:34 am

Re: MAFIA 63: THE SCOURGE [HIDDEN]
My voting history on the bot's Day 2 page is hilarious.
ghug, don't look at the bot before answering. How do you normally feel when you're the lead wagon? Just hypothetically in your past games, really off-topic question I know.

Re: MAFIA 63: THE SCOURGE [HIDDEN]
It stresses me out, but it also helps me read people to the point that I've actively sought it out. Funny thing is I haven't been able to get scumread since I came back, and this is the first game where it hasn't been a goal at all.President Eden wrote: ↑Mon Jan 04, 2021 6:47 amMy voting history on the bot's Day 2 page is hilarious.

I definitely remembered the helping me read more than the stress

Ok. Cuz apparently you are the lead wagon right now. I didn't actually remember that happening. You don't seem that stressed, but at the same time it doesn't feel like you're actually the lead wagon to me, so that's probably a wash.ghug wrote: ↑Mon Jan 04, 2021 6:51 amIt stresses me out, but it also helps me read people to the point that I've actively sought it out. I think I'll hold you to the helping-read part a bit though. Why should we shoot brainbomb today? I have trouble reading his alignment because I tend to baseline enjoy him as a player.

Re: MAFIA 63: THE SCOURGE [HIDDEN]
Or rather, I should say that I didn't remember you still being the lead. I know I pushed it, and I know Jamie pushed it, but I thought we moved on.
Re: MAFIA 63: THE SCOURGE [HIDDEN]
I used to be able to read brainbomb really well, cause he'd play super emotionally and I'm good at getting to the intentions behind emotions, but he's mellowed out considerably, and it made me get him wrong last game. The thing I'm seeing hehe is that he's not really trying to make anything happen himself. He jumped on HR yesterday after others started the wagon. He voted me today late, only after I'd called him out for fanning the flames and having previously scumread me but not voting for me. He voted Vecna once Vecna had a few votes. He voted HR once HR had a few votes. He voted rd, who only has one vote (from his top scumread, HR, no less, but he didn't really do it with the conviction of someone wanting to make something happen. I think town brain would care more about his ideas and scum brain would care more about knocking off good players where he sees opportunities.President Eden wrote: ↑Mon Jan 04, 2021 6:54 amOk.
