Re: MINI MAFIA 1022 - Big Trouble in Little Genua - Game Thread [Hidden]
I get the sabi wagon... and further silence from their corner does not help.
Looking elsewhere, though, too.
I just reread rdr... and I find him disengaged.
He 'defends' his opening post somewhat, but nothing more than a light defense. Sabi thought him overdefensive, I actually find him underdefensive.
He responds to llama's comment about crossbow with a 'shhhh... don't talk about it now' which seems artificial. Nothing llama asked or hinted at would be news to scum. It tastes like TRYING to be protective of town.
He mutters about ghug's almost-buddying him, which is ok, I guess.
But this is the thing that stands out to me, regarding tie votes.
First, rdrivera writes:
Day-1 06:20 page 6 / orig "I have to vote and don't have any good reason.
I will ##vote Kak just to keep the vote tied and see if he shows up."
Using a tie vote as a motivator/impetus on kak. Note it is, of course, a long way from EoD.
But a little later (still hours away from EoD) he criticizes my using a tie vote in a similar way: ↑dargorygel: "Ok... this ties it three ways with plenty of time.
##VOTE RDR"
RDRIVERA: It doesn't ties because Brad vote isn't counted by bot. I can vote Yoak or Sabi to tie it but a tie isn't a great outcome to D1.
My point is this: It demonstrates two possible things. First, it shows a standoff analysis. Surfing, without rdr's usual thoughtfulness. But second, it might be protecting kak.
tldr: scumteam rdr and kak.
It's not a great analysis, I realize. But we have such little data.
##VOTE rdr
(I could vote today for sabi until they start playing (I hope they're ok!!!) or kak, similarly, although I dislike what little kak has had to say more than I dislike what sabi has said.)

I think you already answered yourself. But to be clear (probably someone will say I am over/under/Uber defending me) my first vote was to keep Kak under pressure to see if he shows up and play.dargorygel wrote: ↑Thu Jun 16, 2022 12:48 pmI get the sabi wagon... and further silence from their corner does not help.

(I could vote today for sabi until they start playing (I hope they're ok!!!) or kak, similarly, although I dislike what little kak has had to say more than I dislike what sabi has said.)
And I don't have problems with ties close to EOD. Ties usually force people to assume a position and less easy to scum lay low.
What I pointed to you is exactly you were not tying it because you ignored Brad vote that wasn't counted by the bot but was accepted by GM and Ray it could generate confusion at EOD.
And if I want to defend Kak why I would make his wagon viable voting him first place? I decided to move out of him after Worcej (who I townread) said it was a bad wagon and then I read that Kak's message that I skipped at game start and thought he was baiting a NK.

VOTE COUNT 2.1
BesharamSabi (3) - DeathLlama8, Maniac, damo666
Kakarroto (1) - Dargorygel
SABI is scheduled to be served inna-bun, with onions.
Several people need to participate, but in particular Brad, Sabi, Kak.
A fair bit of time is left.

Re: MINI MAFIA 1022 - Big Trouble in Little Genua - Game Thread [Hidden]
Some random thoughts and reads:
I still want to hear from Kak and Sabi. At this point they are the most obvious pool for today and need to engage.
I have townreads on Worcej, Dargo and Brad (I liked the way he voted me and hope he posts more). Llama is also on the town side but less solid.
Maniac and Damo are nulls but Ghug NK as cop make me suspect a bit of Damo, he is really good at PR hunting.

Yes, I did... but your answers were reasonable... Kak needs to get in the game.rdrivera2005 wrote: ↑Thu Jun 16, 2022 1:54 pmI am pretty sure Dargo voted for me and not Kak.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Thu Jun 16, 2022 1:50 pmVOTE COUNT 2.1

If I had to guess Worcej and Drivera still have good chances to flip mafia.
Re: MINI MAFIA 1022 - Big Trouble in Little Genua - Game Thread [Hidden]
Having thought more, I'm inclined to keep Kak around due to his massive wall. I believe it's in his wheelhouse to fake a soft in order to draw the NK in an attempt to keep the cop alive.
Rdr comes off as towny for echoing my thought process on the wall too.
More to come as I catch up.
Re: MINI MAFIA 1022 - Big Trouble in Little Genua - Game Thread [Hidden]
I cannot help but find this analysis pretty damn good and makes me flip my opinion on rdr more if I approach his agreement on the cop thing to be trying to 'buddy'.dargorygel wrote: ↑Thu Jun 16, 2022 12:48 pmI get the sabi wagon... and further silence from their corner does not help.

I want to start echoing my inner ghug dialogue about I should do the opposite of what I actually think, but then am I actually thinking it or doing the opposite?rdrivera2005 wrote: ↑Thu Jun 16, 2022 1:49 pmI think you already answered yourself. Frankly, over-the-top commentating about forgetting or will be catching up - you've posted 7 times and 3 of them were about needing to catch up. You're playing mafia on other platforms enough that it shouldn't be hard to remember you're in this game too. This is coming off as an act now.

That and this is only post #266 on page 13 means it shouldn't be a task to catch up

So folk... before we get TOO far down this tunnel, does anyone have concerns over anyone other than sabi and kak and brad (all of which COULD fix our opinion...) or rdr?
It would be good to have our thoughts on the table, lest we forget.
obviously.
Again, today I am happy with a kak, or sabi, or rdr wagon.
