There are 3 excellent Star Wars films, a selection of books featuring Grand Admiral Thrawn, Mara Jade, and various other characters, a strategy game called Star Wars Supremacy (aka Star Wars Rebellion) and a space combat game called X-Wing vs. TIE Fighter

Nothing else exists.

Nothing
You don't rate Mandalorian?
It's fine. Nowhere near offensively bad like some of the stuff they've made, indeed some bits were genuinely good. But, at the end of the day, aside from a cute looking baby Yoda thing and "it is the way" I don't really remember much about it nor feel inclined to watch it again.

Like the difference between The Wheel of Time and The Lord of the Rings. Lord of the Rings you will read several times in your life, you will talk enthusiastically about it to other fans, it will form a cornerstone of your mental landscape with locations and events imagined and reimagined countless times. The Wheel of Time... was largely enjoyable and you don't regret reading it... There's even a sense of accomplishment of sorts after navigating the books where feck all happens aside from the tugging of braids, smoothing of skirts, and juggling. But in terms of impact on my life it's chalk and cheese.

Now I can fully appreciate how a couple of other games could have captured people's imaginations and become a part of the core offering... but for me none of the modern stuff excites me any more than the Ewok films they made in the 80s. They exist... some of it is fine

Did anybody here ever play the Star Wars: Battlefront games (The originals, not the remakes)?

Good times. Battlefront II (2005) is the best game that came out of the franchise. I might even go so far as to say it's one of the better games ever made, but that might be the nostalgia talking.
I had a lot of fun with these, but the CIS was always so overpowered compared to the Republic. The AI clone troopers are so dumb, ha ha.

I'll take the cockpit version of the 1983 Atari _Star Wars_ arcade game. Sure, both the gameplay and the graphics are simple, but if you're my age blowing up the f'in Death Star (with the movie music after) was *choice*. It's a *fun* game.

Oh yes, the AI is hilariously bad. Many stories to be told.
