Honestly Chippe, I'm no longer wasting my time responding to you. Bye
Don't address it than. But I hope others will take note and ask you about it.
Chippe, you made your point. Stop spamming the thread.

And I agree with Durga that if Flavius is town then must scum just sit comfortably in any wagon they were.

If Flavius is town, I would expect at least half, if not two-thirds, of the scum team to have been on Bozo and Flavius today. Just an intuition.

Probably. What I was saying is that they were most likely just watching.

I have like 30 pages to catch up. I'm assuming you all lynched Percy and he flipped scum, or you lynched some other scum, right? Sigh... :(

Before anyone asks: I can't be here for EODs. I'm at work at that time and usually don't even have time to check what's going on from my phone.

Good night for real this time.

Hopefully I don’t dream of slamming my face onto a desk repeatedly, but I’m not holding my breath...
I dunt know why this post seems soooo forced to me. Moving Tom to maybe scum list.
I noticed both Tom and Balki saying they were leaving the thread and then staying on for a while. This was supposed to be a towntell long ago (I don't remember anyone mentioning it lately). It doesn't mean anything with these two though.

Yeah I find that usually people who are moving around at EOD are town. Not a perfect heuristic, but mafia prefer a more static game where their natural tendency to find something plausible and ride it til they can't get away with it anymore blends into the flow of the other players.
This applies less when they have other incentives, like when one of their own is up for a lynch, but I'm fairly convinced that Flavius is town from his EOD behavior, as I still can't wrangle together a plausible reason why Flavius wouldn't just take the easy kill of bozo if he were mafia, and would be so adamant on getting Prado.

This makes me feel a need to reconsider Balki, who parked on Flavius from the first hour of the game and didn't seem to adjust his read on Flavius with Flavius's behavior. Certainly any "defensiveness" read from the early hours of d1 falters when you look at Flavius's behavior at EOD: facing far more pressure, Flavius didn't defend himself at all but was adamant on chasing his scumread, spoke with much more conviction and authority, total 180.

Other suspects from that analysis:
dargorygel
Foxcastle
EspressoPatronum
teacon7

I'm still not sure about Durga's push on Nephthys. Nephthys's posting wasn't particularly good in d1, but Durga specifically claimed that Nephthys was making up reasons to be suspicious of people, and that doesn't add up with what I'm reading of Nephthys's posts. My issue with Nephthys was a lack of explanation of the reads, not that the explanation was misleading or fake...

Durga, can you elaborate on what you mean by Nephthys giving "fake reasons to scum read someone"? I don't see where Nephthys gave any reasons to scum read anyone.

you're right xorx. most are not elaborated. i was referring to this garbage:
3. My reads are in 10 page blocks and at the end of reading who made an impact. Most of them are gut reads which I am content with this stage. If I remember speifics I will update. The one that sticks in my mind in teacon, He asked someone their experience in mafia. Then a few hours later asks some more people. I find this rather suspicious as why not ask everyone at the same time or when you think about it. I think that there is a higher chance of scum motivation behind him asking later. Its a way to be invovled without doing anything.

Damn I thought we had something going, still hung up on xorx...

Good recall, that is a fairly bad reason to vote someone. So bad that I didn’t even interpret it as the reason Neph voted for teacon

I'm worried Xorxes will get stuck in a tunnel again, and I think that I can add Balki and TrPrado to my town reads list, but I'll have to iso to be sure. Full town team read list coming before end of phase.
Why are you worried I will get stuck in a tunnel? I only asked you one question, I haven't been pushing you anywhere near the level of push I did against teacon last game.
2. I do, but I'm terrible d1. I think my strength is in pulling people out of tunnels, and the beauty in my reads lists. Also Has Anyone looked at Bozo!(at this point you might have, as I am behind.
Were you in a tunnel about bozo?
3. I'm doing a read strategy that I started last game, where instead of looking for scum, I find those with the ring of town to their name, and see who's left. obviously that's not great D1, but later game it keeps me focused on how townie the players been all game, instead of zoning in on one weirdly grammared post that seems suspicious, but is just bad grammar. (Like how I turned Grammer into a verb? :-D )
Misspells "grammar" -> scum!
Final comment:
Blimey, you managed to misinterpret a lot of what I said.
(That was to Prado.) Prado's isos seemed to have some misinterpretations, I have to agree there.

Chippe - I applaud your defense of lurkers and I totally get it. And at one point I was you. But we've actually lost games because we let lurkers get a free pass, and Moscow has never not lurked and he gets away with it every time. And it doesn't matter if it's now or the next day, but when it gets to the point where we're nearing end game and we have no info on like 40% of the players because they've lurked all game then we're absolutely fucked. And it gets harder and harder to lynch lurkers because we have so much data on other people and want to see how they flip.
That's why a Vig is useful. Maybe the SK can help us out here.

@carl... I read you as town... But you jump to a lot of conclusions. Is keeping a vote really ai for you? Teacon wrote he was busy during the day... As did I... Or perhaps folk didn't like the other options. Moving to bozo didn't turn out that well did it?

bro moscowfleet lurked all of last game as scum. it's NIA.
He lurked as VT twice as well! Did you not read the post I linked??
wtf do you know what nia means. it means his lurking is NOT ALLIGNMENT INDICATIVE. he does it as both town and scum. regardless, he's a goddamn town liability and will lose us the game at the end
I've read Durga and Chippe repeat themselves about this like 20 times at this point. I would say they're both town.
