I specifically made this entire post because i know my vote should look like bussing to the discerning eye. And because people love to look into deviations from earlier reads.

Which is all fair.

The faulty history also isnt completely great for the optics (although a faulty/bad memory isnt exactly ai, because scum especially want to get their facts straight).

Regardless, the post came from a genuine place, and what I believed in at the time of writing it.

Nowhere, in any of this, does Frogster give a reason for scumreading Sweetandcool. He just magically does. Apparently Sweet is so easy for Frogster to read that he suspects him from Page 1 without ever giving a reason why.

That's a town tell; I'm on the good side of reads vs reasons, I'm thinking about my reads and verbalizing what I want to happen rather than the other way around. If you don't look for that then you should start doing so, you will find more scum and have more fun.

I like explanations. I like people to justify their scumreads, especially if they claim to hold them as strongly as you were doing here.

Plus can you address the apparent inconsistency in saying he was different and saying he was the same?

Also, Bozo - I think its a pretty flawed and potentially scummy narrative to only focus on potential bussers.

I can see where it could look mafia motivated considering I did not vote for sweetandcool, but that is not an argument for me not to do it.

Here is my perspective on why those not voting for sweetandcool might be mafia, other than the obvious reason of not voting to DKing a mafia teammate:

brainbomb: Tried to protect sweetandcool, and moved off of foodcoats as soon as I put foodcoats in the lead, so possibly bussing foodcoats.

foodcoats: Tried to protect sweetandcool, more obviously than scum would normally do to protect teammates, but that's what makes it a good scum play.

Hamilton: Low level defense of sweetandcool at EOD.

heart: He always votes as town.

Jamie: Hard to believe he did not understand my comment on Vecna.

I am not sure I suspect any of them more than the possible bussers.

Its easy to come up with reasons why people could have acted the way they did.

Its about figuring out which is the actual thing that happened.

I know we generally clash every game (and its sort of a big ass distraction to me right now) - but I think it would benefit us both if you accept my answers at face value for now and believe me.

It only benefits us both if you are town.

Unsure. It's less about protection and more that you're spending time being snarky and difficult rather than plowing through someone with lots of evidence and questions like you normally do (obviously you're doing some of that with Vecna).

im not considering Ghug and Chaqas vote a serious vote on Sleep, so ill even include those.

Eh, I find it far more plausible that scum is nervous because town got their big prize ticket and they were caught off of the wagon.

Even sleep's "at least I participated" today speech fits much better in a world where he's semi-dickhurt his team was absent to save him.

I wouldnt consider chaqas and ghugs vote bussing.

I find it way more likely there were 5 town in the first 5 sleep voters than that theres 2 scum in the 7 people that ended up on him.

What changed your opinion of Chaqa?

I am really struggling to townread people this game. I'm not that interested in pursuing Will or Frog anytime soon even if there are little doubts, and my townreads on Chaqa and brain persist, but that's about it.

Unsure. It's less about protection and more that you're spending time being snarky and difficult rather than plowing through someone with lots of evidence and questions like you normally do (obviously you're doing some of that with Vecna).

And thats the problem - whenever Bozo is scum, im one of his most-picked targets to try and plow through.

But then again, we tussle when he's town most of the time as well.

The deciding factor for me is often how well his reasoning is connected to his backed up evidence, and so far it doesnt feel totally dodgy at least (but ive also made it a bit too easy I guess)
