Re: Mafia 1033 - The Next Generation [Hidden]
I mean... I sure saw a lot of 2nd person singular pronouns. Let me iso and see if they are less in THIS game.
Re: Mafia 1033 - The Next Generation [Hidden]
I think i learned the trick to reading Bozo. im gonna read a bunch of his iso's and check if I can 100% predict his alignment based on what I read.

Re: Mafia 1033 - The Next Generation [Hidden]
With a once through read of this bozo on this game... while he does use "you " (particularly with red?) His answers do not often lead to further conversation. He answers in a way that does not lead to further conversation. In the other two samples, he answers but asks further questions in his answer. I'm not sure that I am not just looking for something though.

Re: Mafia 1033 - The Next Generation [Hidden]
I think darg is more likely than Will, but yeah.
Damo as scum is pretty brazen at just directly pushing his team's interests. Once he was tied to bona after day 1 I think it's entirely realistic that he just chose to dedicate himself to getting townies miskilled before they both went down. It took a pretty concerted effort to save bozo day two and then they reflected to argent day 3.
I'm definitely not overly confident, and one of them pulling an HR and making themselves out to be the other's teammate when the other is town is certainly plausible (I think this makes more sense as damo, which is part of why I prefer looking him), but we're not going to win this game without resolving them sometime and sometimes the obvious answer is the correct one.

M86: prediction: town -> correct
M1027: harder to predict due to loads of mech-talk, but town -> correct
M84: displaying minor versions of the tell I think he does a lot as mafia, so its not infallible, but combining it with a lot of things i notice him do as town. Guess town -> correct

Re: Mafia 1033 - The Next Generation [Hidden]
The sound of the comm channel chirping broke the uneasy quiet of the bridge. Picard glanced at the viewscreen, where the planet Risa loomed serenely, a stark contrast to the turmoil aboard his ship. He tapped his chair’s armrest.
“Picard here. Go ahead, Mr. Worf.”
Worf’s voice came through, deep and edged with frustration. “Captain, all crew have been confined to quarters as ordered. Security teams are stationed at key points. So far, there have been no further incidents.”
“Encouraging news, Mr. Worf,” Picard said, though his tone remained cautious. “You sound… troubled. Is something wrong?”
There was a pause before Worf replied, his voice lowered as if he were measuring his words. “Sir, I do not trust this calm. The crew may be physically separated, but I can sense the tension building. It feels as if we are standing on the edge of a blade.”
Picard leaned forward slightly, his brow furrowed. “Your instincts are rarely wrong, Mr. Worf. Do you believe the crew’s mistrust will erupt again?”
“I cannot say, Captain,” Worf admitted. “But this unease is unlike anything I have experienced. It is not just the crew’s actions—it is in the air, in the way people move, in the way they speak. Whatever is causing this… it is not finished with us.”
Picard let Worf’s words settle, a heavy silence hanging between them. “Maintain your vigilance, Lieutenant Commander,” Picard finally said, his tone resolute. “And report any signs of further unrest immediately.”
“Yes, sir,” Worf replied, his voice firm. The channel closed, leaving the bridge quiet once more.
Picard stared at the planet on the viewscreen, his thoughts heavy. He trusted Worf’s judgment implicitly, and the Klingon’s unease only deepened his own. Whatever shadow had fallen over the Enterprise, it had yet to reveal its full shape.

Bozo does that all the time, which is one of the reasons I struggle to ever believe he's arguing in good faith.dargorygel wrote: ↑Mon Nov 18, 2024 10:10 pmSorry... must be wearing my stupid hat. Re: Mafia 1033 - The Next Generation [Hidden]
whenever he is scum, he bases his entire reasons for voting people on hypothetical mafia connections based on buzzwordy reasons that are generally over-explained but just pretty flimsy. Generally before any mafia has actually flipped and such connections can be drawn adequately. Reasons that are also easily explainable by town doing it.
he is talking at the game, and dictating some odd theory as his justification for the votes.
I think x and y might very well be scum because they acted abc towards z which could very well be buddying/bussing/distancing
Thats basically all he has done this game as well. No real townreads. Much less progression, inquisitive questions and overall game commentary etc.
just talking reasons at the game to justify his votes. No reasons why he is disregarding the rest of the playerbase.
After scrolling through 8-10 games to test my hypothesis, i drew the wrong conclusion only in this game: http://mafia.peterlund.se/e/web/msgs?g=1024&user=bozotheclown
There he was also drawing those connections, but it was in a game where scum got utterly rolled and he was drawing conclusions based on factual interpretations that matched actual flips.
