I have thoughts on other parts of this post but first I'd like to hearKakarroto wrote: ↑Mon Mar 28, 2022 10:59 pmthat readlist from DL looks strange ... why reading the things for maniac and celaph as good but the same things for me as bad? that isn't fitting together. Also I don't like it's posted so early but at least it's not as grievous as damo. Maybe it's damo-DL-maniac. I don't feel like DL is above bona/boat anymore with that. so celaph>bona/boat>>DL ... oh he posted just now again, that doesn't look good, no, that doesn't look good ... celaph>bona/boat>>snowy/jamie>>>DL ... maybe a bit drastic ... but town DL should now better
1. what you think I'm scumreading you for, and how those things also apply to maniac and celaph
2. what the second post refers to, and why you specifically think saying it is scum indicative
Re: M1021 - Blessings of Lilia - GAME THREAD [hidden]
Nevermind them. UK is asleep is my assumption.\
What do you think about my VCA-lite case against Bona/TFB? Am I completely blowing smoke out of my ass? Can you restate your core reasons for voting for Bona, so that I know what I'm aligning with?

Yeah it's that and I was going to write some more about how for EOD D2, Bona unvoting to cause wagon chaos is on brand for Bona, but it's pretty impressive that Bona and TFB both managed to revote on the same wagon to avoid Bona dying in the literal last minute possible.DeathLlama8 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 29, 2022 6:02 amnot sabi but i'm bored - tbc, is the case here, and do you think bona and tfb are scum together, or is just one of them scum because of this argument?
I read TFB's post-EOD D2 post as honest, partially because I believe the same thing:
I believe that Bona didn't expect to get flashed in response to normal Bona trolling behavior. But once he did, it became a theoretical scum emergency.TheFlyingBoat wrote: ↑Mon Mar 28, 2022 12:14 amC'mon Sabi he clearly did so to break the game of chicken and make people cast meaningful votes given how stagnant the EOD was. Do you actually think he did that hoping that the vote would end in a tie?
Maybe I need to back up for a second.

@TFB, sorry if this was already asked in the past.
Do you recall at the EOD D2, when you made your final vote post for aaro, had you seen DeathLlama8's vote for aaro before making your decision to also vote for aaro?

I don't believe it was asked in the past, but it's a good question. I did see DL's post. I basically was f5ing rapidly at that point with two windows open, one being the thread and the other being a window with a vote aaro loaded ready to submit. After seeing his vote I quickly added the no ties part and hit submit.pyxxy wrote: ↑Tue Mar 29, 2022 7:26 amYeah it's that and I was going to write some more about how for EOD D2, Bona unvoting to cause wagon chaos is on brand for Bona, but it's pretty impressive that Bona and TFB both managed to revote on the same wagon to avoid Bona dying in the literal last minute possible.DeathLlama8 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 29, 2022 6:02 amnot sabi but i'm bored - tbc, is the case here, and do you think bona and tfb are scum together, or is just one of them scum because of this argument?

As for the saving bona thing, I will say that it was certainly a nice benefit as I think bona's play this game was very town!bona, but the overriding principle behind that vote was that aaro or damo had to die.
(further explanation in next post per anti-wall pact)

Re: M1021 - Blessings of Lilia - GAME THREAD [hidden]
On D2 scum imo wanted to keep both aaro and damo alive, if possible, as I think that was one of the biggest sources of uncertainty in the game and resolving that question clears up a lot of alignment based questions as explained in my EoN post. I think the Bona wagon was an attempt by scum to prevent aaro from dying and keep the uncertainty going while keeping damo alive.
The longer they keep them both alive while triggering miskills the more likely the game becomes a series of coin flips in which we need to win every single one as they prevent the biggest possible PoE reduction from happening. Now I have a much workable PoE with easy avenues for reduction as well.
I wish Snowy would have listened to me that damo was the right target given my argument about how the aaro wagon fell apart as the Durga one rose (at least one opportunistic scum in addition to damo moving from the big damo cw (aaro) to a home run target (durga) if it succeeds) seemed somewhat compelling, but he understandably preferred aaro for his own reasons in arguments we hashed out earlier in the day.
Like to hammer the point as clearly as I can, can you imagine if we were having an aaro vs damo vote at KILO or the night before KILO? How catastrophic do you think that would be for our chances at solving?

I think that if I was the Inventor, I would be quite likely to distribute the gun first, to be quite honest. Having said that, I remain of the view that Rdr probably didn't get an item out.TheFlyingBoat wrote: ↑Tue Mar 29, 2022 12:24 amAlso wrt Kak, how on earth could he shoot on N2? The item smith surely isn't passing out the vig shot N1, right? I started thinking about it after kak posted and imo either he's passing out the crystal ball to get an early scan if he doesn't fear the NK or the totem if he does. So what was Kak thinking claiming he has the vig shot?
I've got a good guess about what Kak was doing but I won't pre-empt his own explanation.

Maniac bothers me.
He is the lowest-volume poster still alive, he has contributed almost nothing, and Damo has been oddly defensive of him.
However, if Damo and/or Bona is scum, Maniac's votes, at least, look quite good..... unless he is bussing one of them - which is entirely in his playbook. I remember my Great Idea game where Maniac was an Alien and bussed his Alien team-mates to death with an astonishing level of aggression.

I am going to ##Vote Damo.
He was a seriously viable wagon at both EoD1 and EoD2 until, in the last few minutes, a member of the Town was propelled into the lead.
Damo and Bona are both good wagons today.
