But yeah, there are certain players, ghug being one of them, that I tend to agree with too frequently. And that's scary when they could just as easily be Mafia. So I always feel better knowing for sure their alignment.

For the record I think ghug is town, but I can't comfortably claim it completely. So it will be nice to find out EoN.

Your reasoning here is fine. The ideas weren't all the problem. It was the way you wrote it that made it feel fake.

Ghug has posted about why I am scum, which seems a bit silly. Those reasons are already well established, and so are the many reasons for ghug (which I feel no need to repeat).

Additionally, as mafia, he has a much higher incentive to survive here. For me, it's die now or tonight. For him, it's today or tomorrow (which gives him more chance to sow dissent).

Whichever one of us survives today is benefiting their team. If I die, town has lost a miskill, which is bad for town. Of course I'm going to fight.

I think Ham is a good vote. If there was scum on the block D1, it was him, and his play is hard to follow and oddly aggressive.

Monarch seems to care a lot about mechanics but not at all about solving, which is a telltale sign of scum.

Snipping your assessment of bozo since I don't want to address it but I do feel like it needs to be on the record.

My play is hard to follow. Isn't it always? I do a lot of walking and talking and saying things outloud to then try to make some sense out of them. I think that's been my play since day 1.

Oddly aggressive? How? If anything, other than my pissed-off reply to bozo, I think I've handled myself with a degree of respect.

I don't think these statements are being made in good faith.

I do agree with your assessment on Monarch and it's possible I'll be shifting there.

I imagine a scum would rather throw out their teammate's name for streetcred than defend their playstyle to a teammate like Ham does here. Monarch was one of Ham's most frequent scumreads.

Also, Ham's last-second vote for ghug on D2 in an attempt to tie/survive doesn't look like it'd happen from teammates(...?) I guess he has no choice in that situation though since sitting there and eating it to ultimately flip scum would also probably look kinda weird.

Obviously Monarch is an unreliable narrator at this point in time but this is the main point giving me pause on whether to vote them or ghug today; of the two, if town miskills ghug, for instance, I don't think we have to fear Monarch sowing discord for the additional phase where she's present. But maybe that's the wrong way to think about this.

I think this is a few steps ahead of how we need to be thinking right now. Optimal strategy for town is to operate on the information that was just given to us since if we don't take advantage of it, scum will (for example by keeping both Monarch and ghug alive)

Good indication of this is darg flipping town and being the subsequent nightkill
