Seriously though - I went with the Jamie plan change to present the fact to you all during D6 because it was clearly in the best interest of Jamie to be questionable instead of confirmed. Now you're going to have to debate whether he is scum or not in lylo/mylo going forward.

Oracle could make a clear/scum, so him targetting Percy was the best out to avoid a Chaqa situation - where his possible scum claim in the end ruined him.

I somewhat figured based on how the discussions went that this would be the result. Because of that, I actually would like to propose the following: We should lynch Jamie.

While my original plan had the flaw of if Percy was scum, it would result in a flip on Jamie no matter what. Jamie's modified plan had only one weakness - that if Percy died it was completely moot. Now he has built into a defense for himself that he should not be flipped because he targeted Percy.

I think it is relatively convenient to want to drive the plan, like he did, towards this outcome. Scum!Jamie's hands were forced to have to kill Percy this way while providing an out for himself now for D6.

Beyond that, I've just felt off on Jamie this game. Hard to explain, but it doesn't seem like the normal town!Jamie performance.

Thoughts anyone?

Agreed. There's a chance Jamie is scum. If we're wrong and he's town, we still get the benefit of his Oracle power. It's pretty much win/win.

Let's say it's worse case scenario and xorxes is scum and Jamie is town. Xorxes doesn't inno tomorrow so we lynch him. Then we're left trying to sort Jamie after losing a confirm tonight and the next night with whoever we end up lynching.

Does anyone want to run the numbers there? I'm feeling a bit lazy rn, lol.

@Percy - You should, imo, scan Jamie. Depending on what you get, we do the following:

1. If he is scum, you announce and we lynch him.
2. If he is town, we still lynch him. His oracle claim is confirmed and you become a clear and he can target another person.

While I am pretty much saying 'Hey Jamie, you die D6', this presents us with the opportunity to get a scum (Jamie or Percy depending on the report) and another clear or another scum (whoever Jamie targets).

This also forces the scum to choose: kill Percy before he can scan or kill a clear. Either way, someone is eliminated from the 'possible scum' pool and we're closer to winning this game for town.

The flaw was scum Percy could say Jamie was Oracle and if right could false-clear himself.

Jamie's counter was this:

I was going to propose it the other way around:

- I set my reveal to Percy.
- Percy scans someone OTHER than me (and not Xorxes either) and declares his target at the last moment of EoN.
- If both Percy and I survive the NK, then lynch me.
- This either (a)townclears Percy and confirms the accuracy of his scan, or (b) proves Percy is scum.

The flaw was if Percy dies, Jamie goes away and probably won't be verifiable. He can then sell his role as oracle would be wasted if flipped today and should be saved as a clear.

My money is Jamie is the Human.

If you truly believe I'm scum, then I will be lynched tomorrow. If you think Jamiet is scum with me, maybe find some connections between us so that town lynches him right after they see my flip. And find who the most likely third partner is. If you find a convincing argument you may even convince town to lynch them instead of you today. You can't just give up with more than 40 hours left in the day if you're town. That's what dargo did and we were right about him.
