Sure, my reads.

Currently my strongest scumreads are:

Xorxes
Espresso
Vapour

All of these I've explained.

I also slightly less strongly scumread Chaqa.

The remaining scum could be Flash, Bo_Sox, Dargorygel or just maybe Percy.

I'm kinda null on Damo.

I townlean Worcej and Bozo.

Tom, Foxcastle, and ItsHosuke are confirmed town.
You have more on the fence than me then.

I think I have an idea of what your cases on Vapor (inconsistent reads) and Espresso (slip) are. Can you refresh your case on me?

As for Espresso, he believes my jokey antispew but doesn't trust my hooker claim

In any case, I will still love Espresso and think he's town, maybe I've exaggerated in calling him 'mighty' I have a tendency to enhance attributes and some of you know this from past games

The fact that both bomb and Jamie were able to control themselves, that was very inspirational. If one of the wildest men on this site can cool off their tongue, then everyone can do it.

Hope to see them continue on this more calm style.

You're aware that Brainbomb has been replaced, yes?

Being on the fence and being hedgy are not the same.

Being on the fence is "I'm afraid XX is still a null, he's hard to read"

Being hedgy is "I can see XX as scum and his voting sure looks awful but then again I have a gut feeling he could be town but then again maybe not".

My suspicion of you is mostly as I explained it on pages 93 and 95, plus I really didn't like how aggressively you hounded Foxcastle into the open.

I added Espresso to my scumreads based on Jamie's argument about the DP smokescreen, but I also felt pretty null when I iso'd Espresso in the first place; I felt good about Espresso before I iso'd them, but I haven't been able to slot them as town when actually closely reading them.
...
##VOTE EspressoPatronum
You read my ISO, which includes my reasoning for the smokescreen, but you like Jamie's case on my bcz of his DP argument.

Can you outline what about my reasoning for smokescreening was disingenuous? If Jamie is right and scum!EP used the smokescreen to fish for a glorified VT, I must have been lying the whole time.
I did touch on it in my iso, although at that time I only had a vibe:

I really don't understand how this kind of strategy is supposed to work and it feels like talk for talk's sake:

Oh btw, I read an article on MU recently that talked about everyone sharing their fake seer peeks to allow the real seer to share their reads without having to out themself.

It could be as subtle as 'strongly' town reading someone after the night, to something more overt like, "if I were seer, I would have checked X." If everyone does it, it gives smokescreen for the real seer (or investigatives for this game) to do the same thing and share reads in case they get picked off.

Has webdip maf ever tried this? If so, how did it play out? If no, what are everyone's thoughts on it? We'd need close to a majority decision on it bcz of the reliance on the smokescreen effect.
I agree with Jamie because I think that it could be a "scum agenda:" it could be used to narrow NK POE/PR identification.

Also, you did not recognize that the Mafia was selected from 5 of a possible 7 roles; you assumed they had only 5 roles. But to do this you had to "blank" 2 roles in your head, because you MUST have read the setup to know about the powerthief and the janitor and factor them into your reasoning. This more likely happens if you "know" 5 roles only, because you know the scum team.

I do not like the Vapor wagon, possibly out of spite. For some reason everybody is in lurv with the argument that Vapor's roleblock claim is scummy. Why not xorxes' ridiculous innocent child claim?
Can you state in your own words what the argument against Vapor is? I want to know if you dismiss it for valid reasons or because you just don't understand it.
I think I understand it better now than I did previously, but I backed off from the whole thing when worcej started going haywire (I had asked worcej to explain it and they spewed a bunch of allcaps). That's why I said I need to read Vaporwave today. I want to make sure I understand that wagon.

So to be clear, those of you that are starting a choir chanting about how bad the Vapor wagon is, why? From my perspective, the bad look is all the people who have in unison decided how bad the Vapor wagon looks.

Been chiming about this a little bit myself. I am beginning to see one of the issues town has been having these past few games is the players don’t take seriously that their voting needs to adapt as the game progresses and scum are dominating.

The ‘I don’t like how that looks’ vote is bullshit and contributes to easy scum vote manipulation. Read someone and stick to it. Own being wrong when you are and try to adapt.

@Espresso: Foodcoats makes a great point here, which poses a really significant question for you. Which is:

You said you had mistakenly assumed there were only 5 scum roles, and you asked us to accept this as an innocent mistake. However, clearly the OP lists 7 scum roles. So please tell us: Which 5 scum roles did you assume were definitely in play, and why those 5 (and not the other 2 you discarded)??

I think worcej is town, but he says his death won't be a total waste.

I think Vapor is scum because of logical reasons, but he sounds so towny and his wagon is so full of scum that I don't know what to do.

I think Jamiet, dargo and bo_sox are likely scum. I keep flip flopping about bozo. I don't know what to think of flash. I'm leaning town on Espresso at the moment. I believe all of the claims.
I think Vapor's wagon is full of scum because they did not want to miss the chance to bus him.

Percy ISO...

Percy seems to take care the first half of Day 1 to just have nice little interactions with people on the thread. How nice.

About halfway through says "I'm fairly new so generally confused, and have been varying levels of confused in all my games." The tinfoil hat side of me says this is lowering expectations so we dismiss him early. Additional points on this: he points out the gamblers fallacy later, and claims Dargo's response to Bozo's massclaim ideas is a "dynamic view of the game" that only town has. Not really "confused newbie" perspective...

Follows Jamiet on his initial vote on MoscowFleet.

Vanishes for the 4.5 hours before EOD1. Reappears with about 5 minutes to go. Claims stickbug, but gets the specifics of his mechanic wrong (it activates after N4, so he has to prove himself N5, so he's lynchable D6, not D5 as he states; which he gets wrong again in N5, claiming it activates after N5).

Has been fairly active, but significantly dropped off today. Hm...

Generally I really dislike his D1 claim. It looks panicky, like he game back to the game, wasn't able to catch up fast enough to see that it was EMC vs. Chaqa, and claimed too soon. But I dunno. I think more often than not, last-minute claims are scum trying to avoid the lynch.

I will be on mobile for several hours during the middle of the day, including possibly the last couple hours before EOD, but am hoping to be back in front of a real computer for EOD.

My problem with Percy is the problem I've generally found with Percy: he makes a good bit of noise, but very little of it helps sort him.

Jamie scumreadding xorx seems pretty towny to me.

I however, think xorx is town. Usually when he is scum it is apparent because he struggles - I don’t get that impression here
